I also called Hornhill campus - 18 of the road. They say that they didn't mail out the acceptance letters so far. The teacher said that all letters will be sent out to parents during 14 - 18 Mar.

剛才打過去海峰園問佢地星期六既playgroup有冇停課, 個staff話會停到29日至開返, 順便問埋佢幾時開始寄收生信, 個staff話會分琴日同今日寄, 應該呢2日會收到, 佢講收唔收都會出信通知. 如果下星期都收唔到信就可以打去學校到問.

I called to mid-Kornhill today. They said that the letters are sent out by the central office like other 6 campus. Due to the flu incident, may have some delay now, and tell me don't to be hurry woh..... although they claimed the acceptance letters would be received before 15th.
Wait another few days !!!!.... they don't understand what the parents feeling

I also received waiting list letter for Causeway Bay. Don't know what is the requirement, what kind of bb is preferred by Victoria.... seems very difficult.

we applied the pre-nursery class provided by Victoria (Belcher) but being rejected. However, they claim they will have more vacancies available next year, so they offer my kid a place in the Nursery Class for the yr 09-10 academic year. Any parent has same situation?

old in August. Also, I submitted the application pretty
late (after Chinese New Year). So, I am very happy
with the offer already.

It's because they only offered 2 PN classes, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. They have 4 nursery classes, 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

My son also got accepted for Tue and Thu pm (Eng/Can) at HMT. I am still struggling whether it's a good choice or not. I want to apply some other activities for him in the other three days but I am just afraid he cannot cope with that as he needs to get use to different friends and environment.
I want my son to go to local primary school, do you think Victoria is a good kindergarten to do that? I know it's running 'IB' which is more preferrable to go international stream. Am i right?

我都有帶囡囡去victoria interview. 當我同囡囡playgroup既家長& 唔少朋友傾開victoria時, 佢地比咗唔少意見我. 我而家copy返佢地講既野比你做一個reference:-
1. victoria係一間international school, 所以佢地既教學方法係比小朋友freedom, 令小朋友返學返得好開心. 但如果要令佢地守規則, 自己就要係屋企教得嚴d.
2. 有一個朋友話, 佢睇個仔上堂時, 發覺2個老師根本handle唔到30個小朋友. 有小朋友走出班房都唔知. 如果所有小朋友都乖就ok既.
3. 如果打算將來比佢讀返local既小學, 就要自己幫佢地打底打得好d. 因為有家長話讀完nursery & k1- k3之後上local小學跟得好辛苦囉.

My Baby Girl got accepted by HMT Victoria for the Mon, Wed and Fri AM Class. I am indeed happy and satisfied with the offer as it was my first choice. Any classmates that we could meet before the orientation in April??
As far as I know, there are only two types of letter from Victoria, one is letter of acceptance and another is waiting. For those who attended interview in HMT, they will also receive a slip asking if you would prefer going to the Harbor Green. The School will send acceptance letter to the HMT waiting kids according to their ranking once licence is issued by the ED.

Dear rc_ac,
You can think about the YMCA toldder's world at TST Salibury road. My son is studying there and I really satisfy with it. My son loves go there and always saying "go to school" in every morning. The teachers there are mainly Indian but with very good accent of English. Normally, there are around 10-12 child in one class with one teacher and one assistant. YMCA offer Mon,Wed,Fri 10a.m.-12noon, which I think is suitable for your kid. However, the course have to enrol in every 3 months. The coming enrollment is around 22th March. (I'm not sure) You may visit their website for detials.

I also want my son go to a prestige local primary school and agree that it may be difficult for him to follow. However, my son is really happy to go to the playgroup of Victoria and he likes the teacher very much. Therefore, I prefer to leave this issue for next year when he gets to K1. I think I can have a better assessment by then.

My son is attending YMCA toddler's class now and I don't really like it at all. I just want to share my experience and might not be the same thinking for other mom.
I think YMCA's facility isn't carter for kids, say, toilet facility. I also don't like their pattern of teaching. The room is also too small for kids to explore too.
Well, the teachers are nice but i still think they have their own accent. Maybe your teacher is better.
ANyway, that's just my experiences.

We received the letter saying that my son is on waitlisted and we need to respond by Mar 28 confirming whether we accept this or not. He was interviewed at Harbour Heights. I don't understand they way they accept kids. He was performing quite good at the interview, maybe he's young as he won't be 2 yrs old until end of Sep?

My son has been accpeted by Harbour Heights and assigned to morning class (Eng/Can).
Anyone else who got acceptance from Harbour Heights too?

Same here. My son is on waiting list and needs to response by Mar 28. My son was interviewed at HMT. I think my son is too younger to be interviewed and is not fair. What do you expect from a 15-months kid?

Quite disappointed, though. My friends told me it would be difficult if I chose AM classes as it's very competitve. Well.. what can we do. Did you apply for other pre-nursery schools? Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, my son is a small B, so you still need to 插班, not high chance. I have asked for Keen Mind and Think, but got the same response.
I am not sure if I should try Harbour Green campus, what do you think? Did you apply other schools too?

No, I didn't. I just put him at KGI, but since he won't be 2 when school starts in Sep, we need to wait until he is 2 and then call the school to see if he can get in.
I applied KGIS for him for 2009-10 K1, but he is on waitlisted 61. Lol... so difficult!!! What is the minimum age for Keen Mind and Think?

may i know what is KGIS? do they have website? you applied for 2009-10 K1 and already in waitlist 61?!?!?! that's almost unbelievable!

What? We need to apply for K1 now? Haya, then am I too late to do this? KGI means Kingston International School? I reckon it is too expensive for me. 
For Keen Mind and Think, you also need to be 2 when the course starts. That's why there is really low chance for 插班．
