i want to know too as my son will also enroll in the 2008/9 K1 class.

We picked LLC Causeway Bay (and gave up SHK Central) three years ago. When looking back, we have definitely made the right choice.

(1) LLC's teachers are nice and caring. They focus on encouragement instead of enforcement. They care about your kid's development instead of the school's achievement. Staff turnover is very low.

(2) LLC teaches GS via projects and outings. It is easier for the kids to absorb knowledge through these lively ways than simply reading piles of books.

(3) LLC encourages "reading". There are English spelling cards, Chinese cards, and bi-weekly story books borrowing. The "read-aloud" sessions not only build up the kids' volcabulary bank but also offer a valuable public-speaking opportunity for the children.

(4) Parents of LLC share the same belief and are also very nice. You won't see those "arrogant", and "treating kids as robot" parents here.
