Any comments on this English learning centre (in Mongkok)? Thanks.

Rubbish!
I gave over $8000 and let my kid start the speech class.
However, after 6 lessions, I found my kid so scared of attending the class.
From my observation and the comment from the parents, I concluded that there are several serious problems:
1/ The teachers lack LOVE. most of them did not much care the feeling of the children. They just pressure the children to speak out the speech content. My kid still fear the Mongkok station even we pass-by mongkok.
2/ The administrative work there is totally messy. You paid the money on the first day. What you normally expect is they will organise all the speech timetable, rehersal and speech exam timetale, etc. However, I am not the only one but I am just one of the most parents need to push the staff to organise the rehersal, exam date to me. The staff there even argue with me this was not her responsibility to arrange it . She said You Parents need to actively ask the peron-in-charge in the centre otherwise, he will forget.
3/ The English teacher (I don't know the name), did not behave as teacher. Everytime my kid finish the class I always ask him to say goodby to the teacher . However the teacher NEVER reply a simple word "goodby" to us. My feeling is she just want us to leave as soon as possible because she need to leave!
4/ The "person-in-charge" did hold a rehersal class so that the children had a chance to give a so-called speech in front of parents. Very very very sadly, I found the person-incharge just pressurise the childen to Vomit out what they had been FORCED to memorise from the book. You see , even in front of parents the so-call in-charge teacher dare to force the children to "vomit" the so-call poem. If the parents are not in the class, their teaching method is totally crazy!

It is not the matter of money, but I think children time is so precious to every parent. I do not even ask for refund but I swear I will never let my kid go there again!

Important announcement: What I mentioned was my feelings to " lxxxxing kxy" in MK. "May be" ther are many "lxxxxing kxy" in MK. My above-mentioned statement is not inttended to attack any company. it's so scary... Thanks a lot for the mommy that speak out. As this organisation is in a quite attractive packaging, I nearly let my little boy joins their courses

I wish all of you can find a responsible workshop to study next.

If anyone wants a place for the kid to really learn,
I will suggest:
1/ Step ahead in Tsuen Wan ( a nice place to learn mandarin and LCM): well organised
2/ Mandarin Fun in Causewaybay. Miss Yang is excellent

Any good English centers in TST, Yau Ma Ti, Jordon or Mongkok?

You may try Kinder U in Mongkok
adv:
fresh card teaching

disadvantage:
1/ expensive
2/ no certificate

Depend on the age, there are different program.
I just join it, so I'm not so sure it is good or not.
