Hi,

we are going to the PTA dinner this Friday, including some other mom's of my kids' class. I think it's a good opportunity for the parents and teachers to get together.

It's gathering for teachers and parents (and kids as well). It's a good opportunity for you to get to know the teachers and fellow parents.

My kid came to ISF last Sept to study in Grade 2 and my younger kid will be in Foundation Year this Sept. So in a way I am new as well.
