RC 只係空有名氣，被大家在兩年內捧上去。

RC 開始的賣點，第一，係 ESF 背景，但係 ESF 本身問題多多，多間舊校近年來人事鬥爭嚴重，好多有孩子讀的家長都心裡著急，但公開肯批評的唔多。試問 ESF 的老牌學校都一塌糊塗，你覺得 RC 甚至 DC 這些新校可以點好？
要講 ESF 的優勢，只能說是 "便宜"，是國際學校的 "入門版"，部份入學後後悔的家長，因金錢問題，根本冇路可走。

RC 當初的另一賣點係中文課程，但兩年過來，情形係點，好多人都知。常說 RC 孩子中文好，但真正好的，其實只是部份從其他本地學校轉讀的學生，他們本來就有一定的基本功，他們成績好也當然的，亦不能將功勞歸於 RC。頭一兩年就話可以靠由本地學校轉讀的學生，但 "老本" 唔可以長食長有，慢慢下來，轉校插班生唔會多。將來唔可能再靠本地學校插班生的中文，而是一批由小一就入學的學生，靠 RC 本身的中文課程，真係可以教好中文？

今年的中文課是每天一堂，每堂 40 分鐘。美其名是每天都有中文課，但上課時間少得可憐。他們是分組上課的，分幾多組，每個年班不同，一般是 3 至 5 組不同程度，中文課是全級別孩子混合一起分組，而中文課是要到其他課室上課，部份要到另一層的課室。孩子們要拿書本文具，再行到另一個課室，由於每個組別都有來自不同班的孩子，他們都要等齊人才可正式上課，說是 40 分鐘一課，其實只有 30 分鐘或更少。而且部份組別水平極參差，即使同一組別的孩子，最好與最差的水平相差很遠。

家長宜小心選擇。

“IB” is excellence, very systematic, more demanding, and therefore children are well trained. Most Big
University worldwide will accept.

l
ESF
School, no risk of closing in future. Well experience in school running.

l
Principle is very impressive, should able to carry out his will.

l
Big school, good for school team and competition, different after school activity.

l
More Chinese classes should be better standard.

l
Tuition fees is lower.

CAIS

l
Christian based. Have strong emphasis in Biblical value.

l
Church Run school, accepted many missionary child, Therefore student mobility is high. Parents in average may be less rich than RC’S.

l
Use “AP” good for US and Canada
University.

l
Principle and teacher are very friendly

l
Small
School, small teaching class, good student caring and relationship. Since it is a small school, there will be three recess time as: K3to P2, p3 to p6, Secondary level.

thanks for your sharing, MarcusD. actually, we are not christian. But we choose CAIS because of the good standard of discipline of students there, which is our grave concern. honestly, my hubby has exactly the concern about its christian based given that we are not.

I would like to prefer CAIS than RC. My girl is in CAIS and the school can boost up her potential both in academic and sports. They've got BOB, not every IS has joined the BOB and this is what I like most. You can hardly believe that children read over twenty books during a year and have an exciting competition with other schools fighting for their honors.

I choose this school for his Biblical value and caring.

But it is a hard decision...RC on the other hand sound good too!

Well, tell your hubby, the christian based is about who loved you and how you should love other / conduct oneself properly!
