My son has got offers from both kindergartens. It's really hard to make a decision. Our target is to send him to ESF primary school or RC later...

It makes me headache to decide...

If your target school is ESF Primary School, it would be more secure to place yr kid in ESF (TY). However, if your target is RC (a private school under ESF), then I would prefer Boxhill.

FYI, my son studied in Boxhill for nursery class and transferred to ESF TY for K1 & K2. I found that overall speaking, Boxhill much devoted to the kids than ESF TY which is more commercial.

in comparing english teaching quality, which one is better?
-  Both of them are providing the english environment, however, for my experience, last year when my son was studying K1 in ESFTY, the school changed the class teacher for 4 times due to high turnover.

does boxhill have more chinese teaching than ESF?
-  sorry, I have no idea for boxhill as my son just spent 1 year there and for ESF, they reiterate the english standard, as far as I know, they have one mandarin lesson per week.

However, one thing I can strongly felt that was the quality of education.  Boxhill will be more care and devoted to the development of the kid.  They helped the parents to guide the kid the right way of doing things eg the proper manner of going to toilet, take turn in playing, sharing, etc.  but ESF just totally gave the free hand to the kids.  Their objective is to ensure the kid can enter the ESF Primary School.

which primary school your son is studying now?
- my son is still studying K2 in ESF TY and our target primary school is SJS.  He will attend the interview end of this month.

Anfield. It is good at English teaching, manner of children, the location is not far.

Hi, I am a new mother and now looking for a good playgroup for my baby. Never heard about Boxhill. May I know if it has Chinese name. Is the Kindergarten good? Is it an Internation school. How about the school fee. Please help as I have no idea about this school.

thanks for the info. i've decided to take the offer of ESF (TY) in order to have a better chance for ESF primary. by the way, good luck to your son's interview.
