I heard that they had an open day in January last year, any open day in 2008? Thank a lots.

They don't have open day, just walk in & ask.

Their reception class is for 4 year old. So their P1 is, in a sense, equivalent to K3 in local system just age-wise.

Thx luluonthemoon! My daughter is just 3 years old, that means next year i have to apply for 2010 Jan's reception class right? So is it I can send form at anytime next year?? thx!

You can send in the application to the school anytime, even now. They basically sort out the applications according to the age group and put your child in the waititng list. You may want to call after sending in the application to see if they've received it. When the children in that group turn eligible, they may contact the parents in the list for an interview. If your child is 3 now, she'll be able to start Reception in August 2009 as they take the children who turn 4 years old in 2009. As you can see, some children do start Reception in August when they are still 3 years old if they were born from Sept. thru Dec.

Dear luluonthemoon, thx very much, I understand now! I'm still thinking to apply from reception class or P1, coz i live in Kln side and Tai Po is a bit far away for 4 yrs old kid, just think should wait for 1 more year or not......

It is a bit tough for some of the kids, especially when they are still 3 at the beginning of Reception in August as it runs full day with 2 PEs and 1 swimming class thruout the week. Above all, they have to feed themselves within half an hour. It's a challege for the first few months. You should ponder and look around many other schools as well since you still have time. If you'd like any school, do go have a look for yourself, possibly with your child. Each international school carries different atomosphere, class size, student demographics and so on. Let yourselves feel it and then, shortlist some of them. Your child may give you a better idea to choose the right one! Good luck!
