其實st.cat同根德, st.cat貴成千蚊一個月....但係我都俾我個女讀st.cat, 因為人地話st.cat讀得開心d

kv要填鴨, 冇課外活動, 就連畢業典禮都好似話冇...咁我覺得會好慘囉~~~anyway, 希望我個女會鍾意啦~~

我囝囝今年剛喺SC畢業,或者我可以分享一下個人感受:

1.商業化
坦白講,我一啲都唔覺SC商業化,佢已經收足你學費,所以平時無話巧立名目收其他費用,印象中囝囝讀咗三年,除咗去旅行或者參觀要另外交錢,其餘都無咩使費.

最商業化可能就係年年發通告問學生有無喺出面得過咩獎,等學校可以喺"校訊"登出嚟威威,我覺得呢個好正常啫!

同時學校唔會因為小朋友喺出面攞過咩奬而特別"厚待".記得囝囝去年k3被老師選中負責喺畢業禮致謝辭,我都好奇怪,因為佢班上有好多"優秀"小朋友,時時出外參加比賽,我囝囝反而無.後來爸爸有日去接放學就當面問班主任,佢話:"xx(我囝名)一定做得到,我唔會睇錯!"結果老師正確!

2. 老師欠愛心

好老實,咁大間學校,一班有成廿幾三十人,老師好難做到對毎個學生貼身關懷,呢個係事實,亦唔會好似有啲教會學校老師會主動定期揾家長報告小朋友的情況.不過如果家長揾老師,無論係中文老師定西人老師都會即覆,而且會同家長詳細傾.

純粹個人睇法,老師唔係話要成日呵住小朋友,或者時時揾家長溝通,先叫有愛心.最簡單係問吓小朋友鍾唔鍾意老師.鍾唔鍾意返學,已經係最直接答案,我囝囝三年三個唔同老師,毎年都話:"我好鍾意老師!"以我認識SC老師都有一定經驗,但是否符合個人對"愛心"的要求,就要自己衡量.

KTS, GH, APS, KRS, St, Frances, Creative, SPCC,
SPC, DGJS, DBS...etc. I guess most of the parents
target these schools.

其實兩間各有各好。
如果你想小朋友輕輕鬆鬆地讀，可選SC.
如果你想小朋友早些習慣小學既模式，可選KV.
其實小朋友適應能力很強。以本人經驗，我寧願比小朋友輕輕鬆鬆地讀幼稚園，啓發佢既學習興趣最緊要。到左小學，間間都Feeding the ducks 架啦，吾通到時先至啓發學習興趣咩。佢地見到咁多功課，乜興趣都冇晒啦。

I really doubt that there are so many mom gave up or will give up the seats at SC. If they really think that SC is so commercial and the teachers there are no "heart" and not good, why they still spend the time before to appy and went for the interview? Is there any hidden agenda behide? Are they really got their kids being admitted by SC? If they don't have kids or have friends' kids to studying at SC now (the user), I don't think they are qualified to give out such comment. But anyway, if they don't think SC is good and wanna give up, please do so ASAP as many kids are on the waiting list. Appreciate the comment from cantaloup8, your comment is similar to my friend who has her daugher now studies in K1

Sorry....I do not think to study in SC is happy...my elder daughter studied in SC before...I really think SC is too commerical and not care about the feeling of parents and childrens.. so finally my elder daughter changed to LH.

Which LH your daugher is studying now? My son is now attending the PN class in Hampton branch. From my point of view, LH is not bad. The teachers follow very close to my son at the beginning of the school term, however, when the class becomes bigger and bigger (from 14 pax to 28pax), the teachers seldom call me to update my son's status. I cannot comment on SC but just learnt from some parents who has kids there - all in all, every kind has their good or bad, just u need to put your kid in one which suits him/her the best. My daughter studies in LH(Hampton branch) also, but not as same as you the teacher used to call me whatever my daughter had the health or study problem....I think it depends on how parents are deal with the teachers. My daughter now in LH is obviously happier than in SC before...that's why I think SC is too commerical...

我完全同意whatever講法, 其他活動參與是十分重要, 可以啟發小朋友學習興趣, 思索等, 我囡囡幼稚園是一間較淺的學校, 現在小學是一間好傳統, 好多默書, 測驗的小學, 但是成績都ok, 其實小朋友適應能力真是很強

前日我帶了仔仔去開X'mas party和行街街，晚上臨睡時我問仔仔：明天你想媽咪帶你去那裹玩？
仔仔答：St. Catherine返學！

其實很多小朋友都會報考幾所幼稚園，而最後亦必定需放棄其他幼稚園的offer，我仔仔去年也放棄了多間幼稚園的offer包括KV，但我並不是認為其他幼稚園不好，選St. Catherine只是認為它最適合我仔仔和我們的期望吧！

其實如果個人理由唔鍾意 St. Cat, 可以唔報, 或者唔讀, 並不須要不理性的散播謠言, 惡意中傷. (唔知點解今年好似特別多人不善意批評 SC?

) SC 無疑係一間好學校, 另外 KV and others also very good. 大家各自根據意願選擇吧!
我個女現在讀 SC K3, 老師好好, 回顧 K1 時一請病假多過1 天, 老師都會致電問候, K2 時老師就算待產期間, 仍致電關心小朋友有冇任何問題, 我唔明你點解話 d 老師冇愛心? 有實例嗎? 佢又學倒好多野又開心, 考小學時有很多小學也喜歡收 SC 學生. 我個仔都讀緊 K2, 見佢一天比一天開朗進步, 老師亦樂於與家長溝通.
校舍與新校比當然是不理想, 直頭差添! 這便要視乎家長是以甚麼原則選校了!
我個人好滿意!

基本上冇分別, 而且亦由學校分配, 除非有特別原因才可轉 campus.
我不嬲o係羅福道, 舊d, 但if 自己接送就好, 因近港鐵火車巴士小巴站. 雅息士道新d but 細d (少d班), drive car 就方便, 因有多d泊車位. 師資又應冇分別, 因我個女上年 K2 個班主任今年轉左去雅息士道教, 我帶個女去探佢時, 佢都話係由學校編的, 年年不同.
