Anyone got letter from Heep Yunn so far?

Need to pay $660 this Sat for St Catherine registration.

Which one to choose?

I also rcvd accept lettter tdy fm heep yunn, so happy. In pm class
I also wl give up St Cat(am) and KV(am) even though aldy paid KV. Also happy no need to choose St Cat or KV because i don't know choose which one. My daughter is big b.

That means my daughter and your daughter will study in the same class. They are classmates. My daughter was born in May. I think she is not a very big bb, but rather big.

Before I applied for kindergartens, I read a f ew Quality Assurance
Inspection Summary Reports of the schools(質數保證視學報告). Heep Yunn's report was good. she was only criticized for her amount of homework. While other schools were criticized for their disorganized administration and curriculum planning. St. Catherine's did not upload her report to the web, so I don't know.
Does it mean that you have chosen St.Cat.?

girl has been given offers from many kinders., such as KV am class, St Cat am Eng and PTH class.

I still haven't receive Heep Yunn letter today, I really want to know the result no matter it is sucess or fail.

Anyone know if we haven't get the letter until today, does it mean we will only receive reject letter? Or the letter sent out according to the interview day? My daughter interview on 2 Dec.

Anyways, I think I will paid SC registration fee tomorrow first.

Besides Heep Yunn, have you applied for other kindergartens that your daughters have to attend the interviews in Jan 08? I have applied St. Paul (Causeway Bay). But it's interview is to be held in 26/1.

the letter send out is not according to the interview date coz some of them are interviewed on diff date.

I paid $660 on 15 Dec for St Catherine registration.
For Heep Yunn registration, it is 5 Jan 08.
Still thinking which one I should choose. St Catherine's name is bigger, but I heard girls from Heep Yunn are more disciplined.

I got a place in St. Cat but rejected by HY. HY is my TOP priority. So really disappointed when received the rejection letter

Actually I think my girl behaved well and answered all the questions. She is big big girl as well. But interview is interview and there are only 60 seats for so many applications. It's impossible for teachers to screen each applicant properly in the interview and as a mum we need to accept that. Maybe try our luck again in primary's central allocation.

Definitely, I will choose HY. The Qulaity Assurance Report is a good indicator. It is also a non-profit making kindergarten not like SC. You also have a better chance to get into HY Primary. While you get into HY Primary, you almost can get inot HY Secondary, one of the top school in HK which excels both in academic performance and extracurricular activities . Besides, the school enviornment of HY is much much better.

Does the daughter has the priority if she has an elder sister studying in the primary section? If so, the places are further limited.

For those not got a HY offer don't be frustrated. In fact, quite a no. of local band 1 schools (地區性 Band 1) outsmart traditional elite schools (傳統名校) in terms of HKCEE. If you want ur daughter ultimately gets very good result in HKCEE, try to find the pathways to those local band 1 schools. To get into local band 1 is relative easier, but their academic performance are real good.:)
