1. Flash Card係咪一定要跟住o的size黎整? 點解唔可以用A4紙呢? 點解中英文o既卡都要唔同size呢?
2. 如果真係用白卡紙做 flash card, 可唔可以用A4紙印左紅色字先至貼落張卡紙度?
3. 我諗住BB 3個月大時開始同佢 flash card, 係咪應該睇多o的字卡先至去第二個階段(短句) 好o的?
4. 如果用A4紙過膠, 怕唔怕張卡反光得犀利, 影響BB對眼?

１/其實唔跟SIZE都可以的，不過如果你用A4紙就會太軟身，閃唔到囉，中英文的文字大小本來就唔同，英文會需要長身啲，因為有啲字的字母比較多

２／可以

３／絶對係由生字開始

４／唔知會唔會影响ｂｂ視力，但係佢睇唔到就即係冇左閃咭的意義了

我而家整緊o的 flash cards, 又諗到o的問題, 請幫幫忙 -
1. 如果重覆o既字, 例如運動員, 管理員, 係咪唔好同一次睇呀?
2. 單一個字, 例如 "山" 係咪都要放o係同一size o既卡紙上面睇?
3. 中英數應該點分配時間去睇? 係咪一開始混合睇中文&點點?
4. 睇左幾多字之後可以進入下一階段? BB得3個月, 如果睇左200字就做短句會唔會太快?

作少少補充:

可以買較厚身的180GSM A4紙直接放入印表機列印, 便無須做手工了. 方便家長製作的便是好方法. 兩歲後你會發現最好的方法是手寫字卡.

字卡是沒有需要過膠的. 想想當你的女兒要看1000片字卡, 每片卡可能在後期只看兩三次便會, 你真的會有時間過膠嗎?

作為K1家長, 竟然知道小女考小一, 實在厲害.

小女一歲多後停了字卡, 再由2歲10個月才開始看字卡, 當時大約每個星期可以學完20個詞語, 是學得最快的時間. 2歲半看卡, 當然更好.

選讀幼稚園當然對考小一重要. 因為學校課程的程度, 語言環境, 英語教導方法, 會直接影響學生的能力和表現. 個別優質私小會特別喜歡取錄某些著名幼稚園的學生, 主要是因為他們的面試表現較好, 與及他們的師兄師姊進入該小學後的表現優秀. 當然, 如果由著名幼稚園畢業, 面試表現不理想, 那樣也不會獲取錄.

所以如果有著名幼稚園取錄你的孩子, 不妨讓他試一試.

小女就讀的幼稚園雖然不是著名幼稚園, 也沒有取得什麼獎, 但所有投考的私小學也取錄她. 相信這是當年努力為她進行早期教育的成果, 令她在中、英、數、常識和應對方面均有一定水平.

所以請大家繼續努力.

o的 flash card 係我地自製架! 4個月大唔遲, 只要o係六歲前開始就可以了, 你去買本《如何教寶寶閱讀》就會知道架啦

我又想問下, 如果一日裏面俾唔到BB睇3次, 當係只睇左1次咁, 第二日駛唔駛再睇多次琴日o既卡呢?

I started to show flashcard in pps to my baby since he was 4.5 months.  He was happy to see them.  However, he lost his interest sinice 8 months.

I understood he is on mobility stage that he likes crawling.
Since he has been seeing flashcards for 4 months. I test him for the first time (like "Where is apple?" when holding 2 cards, but he did not respond to my question and crawl away.

In order to keep him interested in reading session,
1. should i change to use printed cards instead of pps?
2. If i use printed cards, should i start all over again and show him single words on family members or body parts (vthese are the very initial sets i showed him 4 months ago)?  Or I should continue to show him the couplets?

No test should be conducted and you need to trust your baby. It would be better if you always let them win by encourage at the end of each session.

There is no need to start over as the baby will lose interest on same material with too much repetition. You can show word in one sesson and couplet in another session.

Have your daughters ever lost interest in flashcards in such teaching program?

I used to make pps based upon the template download from your website. I added sound from AT&T for English words and I record my voice for Chinese words.

My son has been looking for these pps for 4 months. I praise, kiss or hug him after each session. Is this encourgement enough? I am just worry that looking at the computer screen is NOT as fun as I hold the physical paper card to him.

Paper card for learning words should be better than pps as paper is associated to book. But pps is easy to prepare. Where handwriting card will be more convenient than printed card in terms of preparation.

My daughter lost interest for word card from 15 months due to her mobility development. She picked up again after 2.5 years old.

我bb都係差不多4個月開始睇flashcard. 他在約11個月已能認得約100個英文生字, 因為工人姐姐少比他睇中文咭, 中文字認得比較少.

其實我個b已經差不多2歲, 自己會拿書看, 我已少比他睇flashcard, 如果你有興趣要我套flashcard, 可pm我. 全部有約600張英文, 600張中文咭, size約24"x3".

因為我個b好早己開始學講野, 他在11個月時見到d他認得的flashcard時會嘗試讀, 但讀得吾正. 例如apple, 他當時會讀a-bu, 又或他自己自創的讀法, 不過他會consistently見果個字就讀果個音, 所以我知道他認得.

我估中英數他未識分的時候, 你比什麼他睇, 他都當係圖畫咁睇, 他未必會混亂的.

thx for yr advice.

actually i bought GC's english flash cards just b4 chinese new year.

during this holiday i followed the intruction 10 cards 3 times a day, but i found my bb just concentrated to see 3-5 cards. what can i do? do i need to reduce the cards to 5?

another problem is, i hv no time to play 3 times a day to my bb because i need to work overtime, is it a good idea let my philippines maid play the english cards to bb or can i play twice a day?

pls advice.

ha!

if i play once a day, is it meant i need to flash those 5 words for 15 days and then change another 5 words or just take 1 word out then add 1 new word replaced?

我開始同bb玩dot card第5日, 但係我發覺佢唔係好望d cards, 有時會望住我, 有時會周圍望, 我應該點樣吸引佢去玩dot card呢?
