I would like to ask whether SPK or SPN would be better for my daughter.

Personally i prefer letting my kid to have her study in SPN, since i hope she can be getting involved in early education asap; but would the chances of getting promoted to SP primary school be less when compared to those who are studying in SPK?

Moreover, my daughter's birthday is on october and would it be an adverse factor for her getting into SPN/ SPK?

SPK-St. Paul's Kingergrten(half day-3 years)$2,xxx
SPN-St. Paul's Nursury(Full day-4 years)$5,xxx

SPK and SPN separate, no exchange, i.e. 4 years in SPN and 3 years in SPK, no first year in SPN and 2nd-4th to SPK

I think it is clarification.

I also heard that the chances for students in SPN to be promoted to primary school is not that great as compared to SPK, can any parents share with us your experience?

The chances of getting promoted to St Paul's primary are the same for SPN & SPK. It all depences on the performance of the kid rather than whether the kid is from SPN or SPK.

Both SPN & SPK are great. If you can afford the school fee, I would recommend SPN because it has a lower teacher to student ratio (this makes a lot of difference to the kid).

depends on you want the kid full time or half day at school and also the $$.

but i heard that the knowledge learnt in sp is easier so hard to change to other primary school and they are also hard to catch up with the standard when they first admit to sp primary. is that true??

I heard that SPN don't offer interview for every applicants like other kindergartens, any BK friends know how they do their selection before?

我同樓主有同一個問題呀
我亞 b 係 10 月尾出世
所以如果報 spn 就要做大 b
變左好似遲左一年讀書咁
但係報 spk 做細 b 又機會細

no, this is mentioned on the application form (i think), if they accept you (if you are very very lucky!) you will have to pay $5xxx plus other 雜費for 4 years.......

you really have to take this into accout.....

No , u can't.
SPN and SPK both are very good schools, I think no need change .
