My son was accepted by SC in Eng./Putonghua class. Actually, we didn't speak putonghua to him. I just wonder whether my son can adapt his school life there if he don't know what the putonghua teacher is talking about.

Any mama know some more about this class? Will the Putonghua teacher speak in Cantonese if the kids cannot understand. Quite Worry:-|

Not need to worry. Kid's brains like a sponge, will absorp thins extremely fast. Faster than u can imagine! Just relax! Stick on what u originally plan & will get what u expect!

我個仔都係英普

我係屋企都無同佢講過 cantonese and mandarin，不過自從佢返左 nursery 之後 (international class)，呢排我發覺佢識聽我同爸爸講廣東話，相信佢係同同學既相處學識左。至於國語，學校一星期有兩堂，我最初同佢講佢會無反應，e+ 佢開始會留意我講乜。

所以，唔駛擔心，佢地自己會去學

Actually, St. Catherine is my 1st choice, so I felt very happy when I knew my son was been accepted. however, he is a little boy (2yrs9mth.old) when enter school, I think it is very difficult to adapt a new life to stay in school for half day without accompany with mama (as he hasn't been to nursery before). Moreover, he also doesn't understand what the Putonghua teachers are talking about. I think he must cry at the beginning.
