Yes they like bigger child (as written at the school notice) -- but in real case, my son's classmates borned at Dec also accepted by the school -- so don't worry

For those who have gave up the seat, may I know which school you finally pick? SPC?

I also heard that the acceptance letters they issue is more than the no. of available places. This may be based on their past experience that a certain percentage of accepted kids will choose other schools at the end.

學校本身程度不俗.

除左幾間超級學校較少人give up外, 好多熱門學校都有被放棄情況. 有些熱門學校每年六月還要舉行第二輪招生呢!

同意。有英中直屬中學，小學是英中，程度不俗；學校沒有給家長壓力。小兒讀得開心，升中又有保險。若成績很好，可選更佳中學，今年升中派位很好，有 Queen's , King's, St Jo,
St Paul Boys, St Paul Co-edu, Wah Yan......

now he is P1 stundent.(有英中直屬中學，小學是英中，程度不俗；學校沒有給家長壓力。小兒讀得開心，升中又有保險。)

Dear Brianma,

Thanks. My son has just registered Raimondi on Monday after knowing that my son was not accepted by Wah Yan. However, Wah Yan just called us up 1 minute ago telling us that they have a seat for my son! How annoying that they did not give me time to think, and we have to repsond at once. Since these days we have been preparing (mentally) to let our son go to Raimondi. So my first reaction was that I told Wah Yan that we are not going to Wah Yan.

We like Raimondi because it is a full-day school, unlike Wah Yan which only is half day. I don't like the idea that my son has to adapt to 3 yrs am and 3 yrs pm.

To be honest, we are stilling disturbed and struggling if we have made the right decision. Anyway, at least the place at Wah Yan will be passed to the next parent who need it.

不能否定RC 係好學校, 不過要留意 RC 開4 班, 每班 40 人, 但SPC total 只收 90 人.

I AGREE IF YOU COMPARE WITH Queen's , St Jo, Wah Yan, RC is not the best best, best one, but after that first first first priority. They still a good school (I give this school 85mark)

REASON I CHOOSE RC IS

1. THEY USE PUTONGHUA TEACH CHINESE.
2. THEY USE CHINESE & ENGLISH TEACH GENERAL STUDIES.
3. THEY HAVE MORAL EDUCATION AND
4. FULL-TIME SCHOOL
5. THEY HAVE 活動 EVERY FRIDAY PM (1:40-2:40) e.g. football, art, scientist... no need to pay $$$

OF COUSE NO SCHOOL IS PREFER. (40 人一班 I ASLO DIDN'T LIKE THEY HAVE 40人一班)

My son is a very naught boy, Mid of sep teacher already let me know he let my son seat in front of her. (You can think he is very very naught boy),but still not use, so teacher change a seat plan agina at mid of oct. She put my son at last row & put all a good child around him so no body will talk & play with him at lesson. I call teacher yerterday she say now BRIAN is better)

40人一班 seat at last row, I think every mummy don't like this arrange, but my son say with me he don't like seat at last row, because teacher can see him clearly.

How long do you require to travel to RC?

I live in Kowloon City. I check with RC's school bus details, there is no direct routing for kln side...:-| I don't want my kid take long time for travelling...

That is quite long and I don't agree to let the kid to travel too long for study.

If you really like RC, you may consider to liver closer to school.

Agreed. Take long time to travel between Kln and HK is not idea for kid.

Why u don't like it is a co-edu school?
For me, I like it as majority of 'one dragon' school are either purely boys or girls (except St. Paul Co-edu). So can give us 1 more choice.

I want to know about is that I hope the quota to QC is increasing after moving to Wan Chai. In previous year, only 2-3 to QC and 16 to Kings, after movement, is it allocated more space to QC like Henessary ?
What do you think ?

I think the chance for RCPS students to get places in QC will increase as it is moving to the same school net. Not only QC, the chance of getting places in government or aided secondary school of Wan Chai district will also incease.

However, there will not be any places of QC designated to RCPS. The case is different from Hennessy. QC is the nominated secondary school of Hennessy PS.
