2 parts:
1. for parents, there may be >10-20 parents inside a conference room in which there will be 2 teachers sitting there. Parents are called in turn to one teacher only, to check the original copies of documents handed in before, and the teacher will ask the parents some simple questions - mine, only ask: "how the school could communicate with parents..." . On 24.11.07, one techer speaks only English, and one can speak in Cantonese, if parents prefer. (N.B. one teacher for the parents, and there are many other parents sitting around who coudl ehar the conversation, so I did not expect it to be a serious interview for parents at all).

2. for children, groups of 3 , in turn, goes to the Headmaster's room for interview (either by Headmaster Ip, or by Dr. Lau). My child had the "interview" with Dr. Lau for almost 30 min? My child claimed she only need to assemble a puzzle, and no questions asked, and not even need to read stores with Dr. Lau?
- I am not quite sure, as she seemed will under-report to me of the true situation.
Do prepare that the scheulde will be late, as they tend to over-run a lot.

My kid told me 3 children go together to the Headmistress's room. Dr Lau asked them questions one by one. She asked both English and Chinese questions. Interview time around 20 mins.

According to the teacher outside, it's mainly story telling time.
For the parent, same question as quoted already.

Dear all,

We've attended the 2nd in yesterday.  The flow was rather smooth even though there were lined up so many parents and childern.

It divided into 2 streams --
*1 stream for parents to talk and to verify the documents submitted before with the teacher (either Chinese teacher or English teacher)

*2 stream for childern.  They were grouped by 3 as per the schedule posted on website.  As I seen, childern have to wait and line up outside a room before interviewing with headteacher.

As per my son told me that his group was arranged to interview with Mrs. Lau who asked them questions in both Eng & Cantonese ONE BY ONE.  Then she showed them a picture and asked them to describe it. But my son told me that he didn't know what's the picture drawing, just filled up so many lines, curves...etc.  It took around 20 min.

I've the interview this afternoon. There were 2 streams as well. My child went to a room for the interview with 2 other kids. She was interviewed by the male principal, i.e. Mr. Yip. She told me that the whole interview was conducted in English. No story telling. She was asked to choose her favourite picture among three and then to descriibe the picture. The interview lasted for about 20 mins.

After she came out, we and her proceeded to another big room and waited (there were other parents and kids in the room) for the teacher to ask us questions together with other parents and kids.

We will have interview on Fri, but unfortunately my husband is on business trip, so I have to go on my own. So nervous!

Hkufrankie,

The teacher asked us how would we face and handle the problem of our child. Parents did not need to see the principal, only meet with the teacher. Only the kids would be interviewed by the principal.

Some candidates were also accompanied by one parent only. No need to worry. But I heard the teacher did ask one parent why the other parent could not attend the interview yesterday. So you might need to prepare on that.
