It's like comparing apples to oranges. ICS is an international school while the other one is a local school using Chinese as the medium of teaching.

Can anyone help to comment if 優才 good or bad. I have visited their web pages, the school looks new but energetic. The teaching philosophy is also positive.

Which one does meet your kid's needs most?

My daughter is in the best group in every subject in a famous international school and her reading is one of the top 5. She interviewed several local schools but we found that she was not the pupil they wanted (although she was admitted by some of them). Meanwhile, we found that the local schools pushed kids so far that the pupils would lose their enthusiasm toward learning. Finally, I decide to teach Chinese myself and give her a happy childhood.

Eh-oh,

優才is a local school.  It's established about 10 years ago, firstly as a private school and then switched to DSS in 2002.

優才is a local school with a more liberal approach compared with traditional elite school.  It aims at the persuit of : Joy" and "Excellence", which means students go to school happily and achieve superior academic standard.

The homework load is light.  Plenty of enrichment activities are planned in school time table.  Class size is small.  Student-teacher interaction is encouraged.  Authentic English learning enviornment is provided.  Putonhua is used as the teaching medium of Chinese Langauge.  Other subjects mainly in Cantonese.

To me, they did the "show" very Pro. It looks like they are running a business company (school

). Don't you think they look like the Ad of 補習社?

There is a funny answer when a Dad asks principal whether the school will provide special care to the kids with problem of learning. The answer is "會有服務" sharp...no more details.

ICS is an international school. GT is a local school with open mind teaching ,they can teach gifted child but mainly use chinese as a medium of teaching. Students and their families background are very different. Which type of the families are you belong to?
