衷心的恭喜你們, 我們仍未收到信, 我相信............. 那種每一次由期待至失望心情的過程實在很令人難受, 我總於明白在電視上看見那些父母為何因為自己既子女能入到一間心儀既學校會流出眼淚, 我相信除了是一種喜悅外, 也是一個解決.

我對現在已睡覺了女兒說聲 i love u.

I believe we have to sacrifice the right of "Lucky Draw". There's a declaration form requested by the school that the parent makes a pledge that the child will not participate in the Government's Primary One School Places Allocation Scheme, if we fail to follow, the place will be forfeited by the school.

I heard that there are some mini-bus available for Kowloon side, but the kid will need to get up really early:-| :-|

我相信呢間學校的Waiting好易入到正選，因有唔少人考左都放棄！我收到信但都未必會讀，因為太遠。

若地點不是主要考慮點，建議還是把聖士提反擺前一點好。

本人是參加完今年簡介會後即時決定不替孩子報讀的，原因有以下3 個：
(1) 學校在是否繼續行 IE 的方向頗為含糊，直接影響孩子未來的路向。 [ 請參看明報網站簡介會錄影]
(2) 校風較開放，就當天擔任的學生大使中，部份小四、五女孩的校服裙短得可憐，令人擔心。
(3) 學生大使水平極一般，多次答非所問，有反效果。

以上純屬個人愚見，若有得罪處請多多包函。

我也覺得聖士提反好，因為我朋友的孩子讀得好開心，英文及國語都有好水準，只可惜住得太遠了，否則一定揀！

Hi,如果st paul冇2 in，可能都好難考慮，因為對我來說太遠，我住新界區，除非冇其他chioce,因為唔想小朋友太舟車勞動，但也曾爭札一輪想揀！

我不認識其他兩間學校，不敢排名，但聖士提反真的唔錯，我肯定小朋友會讀得開心，上上下堂都會帶你去沙灘執貝殼學數學，學生都好另類，冇傳統名校般鬥生鬥死，氣氛好好。

講真，如果對你來說地點許可，真的值得考慮，有乜野係重要得過小朋友開心，而且程度又好呢！

Congraulation Ah ! I did not receive the letter and beg it is another failure. Very very depressed as i thought this is the school he performed the best. Wouldn't expect much for the other schools. What can i do ? wait for the lucky draw in June ???

BTW, when is the deadline for registration - just trying to gauge if we will have a chance latter if some do not turn out for the registration.

多多謝你的安慰ｏ可能我巳在激消？,depressed狀態, 所以對一切消息都很悲觀. 但據我從朋友口中得知 (based on previous year experience), the school will send out the 1st round of successful applicants (may be as well as the obvious “no”s). Based on the number of spaces left after the registration deadline, they then will try to fill out those positions by sending out second batches, and so on (I also see this is logical). I hope I am wrong but I don’t want to lie to myself anymore (自欺欺人呀！)

請問如何得知聖士提反不是band 1 學校? 從那裡可查閱.

其實中學佢哋啱啱上個月宣佈轉直資,
而家好難估計到我哋小朋友讀到5,6年級時,
佢哋中學run成點.

我覺得如果而家滿意佢哋小學,
認為適合自己小朋友性格同發展係比較重要,
到過多幾年, 小朋友又大個咗,
我哋又更加了解小朋友嘅程度同需要,
先再考慮或決定中學去向都未遲.

至於呢間學校有中學,
對家長嚟講可能係一個賣點又或者啱啱相反,
不過掉返轉頭睇, 而家佢冇要求你一定要直升上佢哋中學,
其實到時大家都仲有choice.

唔知大家又點睇呢?

It Depends if we can be offered a seat from St. Paul Boys. Very tough choices. I heard different (good as well as bad) comments for both schools. Anyway, the chance is i will get none from these two schools, so no need to bother at this point. Can you tell me when is the deadline for registration with St. Stephen and how much is the deposit ah !

仔嘅選擇真係多, 女就冇乜喇,
雖然唔係話女校少, 但多數都係要抽,
可以考嘅選擇冇男校咁多.

Thanks for the information. To be honest, i do not know all these schools very well and have not conducted in-depth analysis. My opinion hence is purely on my personal impression as a result of comments made by other parenets and kids. Of the three, Ramondi would be my last choice. For St. Paul Boys and St. Stephen, they have different strength. What is your conclusion so far ah ?

I would prefer St Paul Boys as my first choice and Ramondi as my second choice. For St Stephen, which is good too, but I put it as the last choice because, it's school fee is high and travelling time is long. Both money and time are very important to nourish the kid. If I pick the St Paul and Ramondi, I could decide how to channel my resource on my kid, most important the choice is still in my hand.
