珠媽,

ABC pathsway 都真係好貴, 一個月的"劍橋英語" 要成hk$1500. 不過佢地話所有老師都接受過訓練. 佢地有開講座, 你可以去聽下先. 我個小朋友大約上左 1 年.

Tatama,

"mud" 佢地唔係全英語老師教嗎? 你的小朋友上那個course呢?我帶小朋友去上堂時見佢地d 老師有d 外表似中國人, 但係佢地又唔識講中文, 佢地會唔會係 "abc" or "bbc".....

Hi Tatama,

About the Cambridge course, 60 hrs @ unit,
17units total.
2 lessons / week, one hr @,
HK$1,800. @ month.

At the begining of @ unit, pre-paid another HK$1,800. to hold the seat. It will be refund after the unit (7 months later). Correct me if I am wrong.

$500. @ set book fee for @ unit.

Hence, About $4K to start, plus HK$160. for accessment.
I paid last week. very expensive!

But my daughter enjoy very much, total 5 children in her class.I think it works, all I concern is $.

My daughter is in K3 now, not sure if she study P.1 will
continue.

我仔仔以前同學(K2-3)都係ABC學拼音，見佢同學d 英文真係 lock lock 聲。

我的仔仔在ABC pathways讀了一年多, 讀過幾個月劍橋英語, 後來見到其他小朋友學phonics幾好, 就轉了讀phonics, 全部都係外國人教, 而小朋友返得又十分開心, 英語確實係進步了!

唯一我覺得ABC唔好的地方, 就係佢地內部行政比較混亂, 同埋學費好貴! phonics後來已經唔係以月計, 係以堂計, 有時一個月要俾$1800出來, 所以自從仔仔上了小學後, 已冇俾佢再返了 (但仔仔間唔中仍然會提起想再返ABC~~)

Yes, agreed that ABC is expensive, but it worth!

My son started the phonics class when he was in K2 and now he is in P1. He has his second time dictation this week. I tried not to prepare anything for him but he knows how to spell all the words.

For Chinese dictation it is a bit hard and I have to choose some vocab for him to write day by day in order to get high marks. ....... so I can see the difference

I have attent their seminar around July 2007. I found the Principal is very nice and good. REally, the course is very very expensive. I have asked here is there any comments on this school, but the feedback is not very positive. Then I hestitate. Acutally, it is uneasy to find a good English school.....
