我小朋友讀三年級, 差唔多每個星期都有背默, 不過段落不長, 可以應付。

Unseen dictation: not too difficult but sometimes my son will get wrong for one word and it's only one line.

背默幾多行? 難唔難?要讀幾耐先背到?

都唔算太難, 可以應付, 但我會要求小朋友在默書前兩三天就開始背, 咁樣會記得好d 熟d, 否則小朋友在默書緊張狀態下, 會好易失準。

我個仔讀緊小一﹐已經默咗四次書了﹐最近嗰次好〝堅〞-->讀默 + 背默, 合共兩課。不算太難, 不過老師對 d 字體/字形執得好嚴！:-|

This school arranges lots of dictations for the students and i think it's good for them to study in this way!

Not quite. Only once per week.

For example, week 1, 3, 5.... for English, and Week 2, 4, 6... for Chinese.

But for the first dictation week, both subjects might be dictated in the same week.
