Yes, I received letter (dated Sep 30) stating my son is on waiting list. Luckily, they called me and offer me a place. EC asked me to register before Oct 12 wor.

waiting list 唔係要12 oct 之後才知道是否可補上咪? 點解一樣是 12 oct to register ?

My son's waiting list letter was dated Sep 30. Seems that EC sent out all waiting list letters on the last day as they promised to give result by Sep 30.

I heard that there are more than 30 kids on waiting list. Will there be more than this number of parents giving up eventually? Anyone knows the waiting list situation last year?

quite possible....As Principal said b4, he expect around 30-40 students giving up. especially those top students, they are easily shifting to 聖喇拔

Tomorrow is the registration deadline. Don't know how many parents giving up the offer?? And don't know when EC will call those on waiting list??? A bit worry but nothing I can do. Just to wait.

just wait, statistically, there would be some parents not going for register....

I heard that some parents on waiting list still send letter to Principal Lo in order to increase the chance of being offered. Does it really work? But I think there should be no. sequence in the waiting list already. Therefore, I am not going to do so as don't want to waste Principal Lo's time. He should be very busy to read letters written by rejected parents everyday. :-| :-|

Just want to share my experience, I did knock the door 10/June again and my application was finally accepted, I believe there are about 5 seats registered at last. And there still have some parents give up EC before Sept so keep trying and talk to headmaster but not giving him trouble.
