Hi Radiomama,

I just started studying the JP. Similar to your reason, I want to learn the JP and practise with her in home.

I bought Finger Phonics Books, Jolly Songs & DVD at Wisekids / ELC (Megabox) last week. I only heard the Jolly Songs and found it is interesting.

I bought Finger Phonics Books & Song Book at Wise Kids (Admiralty).

DVD at ELC Megabox.

Suggest you call Wise Kids / ELC to check the stocks.

I just started learning and haven't taught my daughter yet. Therefore, I don't know if she likes JP or not.

I went to Wise Kids this morning but just bought the Finger Phonics Book from 3-7! Book 1-2 are out of stock! I also purchased the Phonics Song (CD), I thought it's so funny!
However, I didn't buy the DVD. Is it useful? Pls make your comments on this product. Anyway, thank you very much for your suggestion.

If you wish to teach Jolly Phonics by yourself, I recommend you to study by yourself first through self-study or apply certain parent training course.

Agree ! I also want to study JP first before teaching my daughter. In fact, I have applied for the parent course. After attending the course, I think I'll have a better idea.

Actually I have learnt phonics (for adult) before but not jolly phonics. I have gone thru the phonics books and CD last night and I thought it's not difficult.

Any recommendation? I know that the course will be held in the end of this month but I am not gonna to join.

I am going to follow the schedule of the kindergarten, not to fast but can have revision with my son at home.
His teacher doesn't follow the path from s-a-t-i-p-n.

The first week she taught S, and then A, and then this week is B.

So far I don't know which letter sound(s) did my daughter learn in the school.

Nothing mentioned in her handbook. I asked my daughter if her teacher taught S or not. She said no. I think I should ask the teacher about the path so as to keep track of my daughter's progress.
