小兒現時讀維記, 編制與蔡繼有相似. 因新校舍太遠, 想幫個仔轉去蔡繼有,大家可否給些意見？

May I know where is "維記"? And the full name? 蔡繼有 will be located at Tai Po Road in two years after.

地址應該是郝德傑道。以我所知，每年都會插班生，小二至小四都聽聞過，不妨一試。相信在維記讀過，在蔡繼有亦會容易適應。

反而想請教，維記的中文程度如何呢？何文田維記幼稚園口碑好嗎？我有興趣俾小女讀呢。

I live in the same bldg of Victoria kidergarten in HMT la..I moved to here bcs I want my son to apply this school 3yrs ago. However, my husband and I decided not to choose this one finally since we felt that its too "commercial" and the standard of teachers are not stable after attending their interview and parent meeting. My neighbour sent her daughter for K1 last year and also told me that its not as good as what she expected. As per her, both Eng and Chin is not so good and thus she shifted her daughter to another one this mth la....

有感物色一間價錢合理，又有獨立校舍的雙語幼稚園，比起物色小學更是困難。

其實蔡繼的老師也不是很stable, 看你好不好運, 一年轉兩個也不出奇, 我的孩子讀了幾年,年年也有老師走,很影響小朋友的情緒和學習進度, 還有一些外籍老師很不負責, 常常請假!

"大埔道"就是深水埗與沙田連接的公路, 如去CKY就要經"大埔道"轉入"郝德傑道", 位置即以前的"教育學院"及"耀中".

Will the new campus in 郝德傑道 be one
for all primary and secondary students?
Are you satisfied with the
development of your children’s Eng/Chinese/Math and learning altitude?

My son did not go to 維記 kindie, but many of our primary students did.

I heard from their parents that the kindie is very well managed.  Parents are generally happy with it.
The primary school allocation is not bad.  Pls

In terms of 維記 primary Chinese standards, we use local school text
books but do not get to finish them.
There’s a Chinese spelling test every 2 weeks.
Putonghua is used in Chinese and Putonghua lessons.
POI
(Programme of Inquiry which is topic based) is conducted in both Eng and Put.
Other lessons are conducted in Eng.
In a nutshell, students can
master both Eng and Put well (like CKY).
But in general the standards are somewhere between international schools and local Chinese schools.
That is, students Eng (esp. oral) is much better than an average local school
and Ch is definitely way ahead of international schools who have one Ch
lesson a week.  Students are happy going to school and have a lot of
curiosity in things.

是，是供小學及中學的校舍，希望可以如期入伙啦。

小兒在蔡繼有諗書祇有一年時間，so far so good。其實這類學校，可能與維記差不多，家長不需老是照顧測驗、考試，反而可以有多些時間與孩子看書。

另外，多謝提供維記幼稚園的資料。謝！
