很多國際學校用Ｉ.Ｂ，詳細係乜？
是否不可以函接香港課程？有學障讀國際學校可以嗎？

IB = International Baccalaureate

IB PYP = Kindergarten to P6
IB MYP = S1 to S4
IB DP = S5 to S6

After completed IB DP, student can apply local universities through Non-JUPUS or study overseas.

The below schools are run IB:

1. Victoria (Belcher) International Kindergarten / Victoria
Shanghai Academy (VSA) IB  PYP, MYP & DP

2. English Schools Foundation (ESF) IB  DP ; PYP (by 2009)

3. The ISF Academy (ISF) IB  MYP & DP

4. Chinese
International
School (CIS) IB  MYP & DP

用了一些時間去多D了解"IB",現作一些解釋...

IB===Internal Baccaulaureate

來源
1968年在Geneva,有一個學術協會推行一個制度叫"IB",
要求學校根據佢地的步驟去做教學的方針.
現在大部份世界上有名的大學都接受由IB制度下教出來的
學生,承認佢地在全球的學術地位.所以HCEE and HKALE
只不過係香港呢一個地區性考核成績,而"IB"係國際級成
續的標準.

教育目標(www.ibo.org)
(1)Developing citizen of the world in relation to
culture, language & learning to live together.
(2)Building & reinforcing students sense of identity
& aultural awareness.
(3)Fostering students recognition & development of
universal human values.

如何區分
分為3個level
(1)PYP=Primary Years Programe
3-12 yrs old,focuses on the devellopment of the
whole child ih the classroom & in the world outside.
(2)MYP=Middle Years Programe
provides a frame of academic challenge and life
skills through embracing & transcending traditional
school subjects.
(3)DP=Diploma Programe
Demanding 2 years curriculum thats meets the
needs of highly motivated students, & leads to a
qualification that by universities around the world.

所以點解D家長同學校都好希望怏點實行"IB"system.

KCIS has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma programme since May this year.

Does anyone know whether all students in an IB school will participate in the IB Program or the students are required to choose participating or not??
