請問有無人知道關於ICS(International Christian School) playgroup 的資料呢？如學費、地點、時間各樣各樣，因為我在其網頁找不到任何資料呢﹗

The details haven't been confirmed yet. It depends on the progress of building new campus and there will be spare rooms for playgroup. I received a letter last month stating that it will start in January 2008.

Dear Snowyk,
You can apply the playgroup for your kid now, they call playgroup as "Pre-Receiption". Details will be announced later. How old is your kid? My little boy is born in 2006 and I have applied Pre-Receiption for him.

My little boy is born in June 2006 and I have applied Pre-Reception Class for him. Staff of ICS are nice ladies. They told me that I can download Reception Class Application Form on the website and amend Reception Class to "Pre-Reception" Class under the column "Applying for Grade" of the application form. After completion of the form, you can fax/email to them. They will send you an acknowledgement upon receipt of your completed application form. Then, they will send you a parent's survey in which they will ask you about your prefernece on session/no. of days your kid intends to attend. At present, they do not have too much detailed information but will keep us being informed.
Regarding the place for the class, they said it will mostly liketly to be arranged at existing premises.

From their website, they say that the Reception 1 classes are for 3-year olds and the Reception 2 classes for 4-year olds. My baby is a 0602 girl, I am busy recently for searching N1 course for her in Shatin District. Please kindly provide more information as I am a fresh mom. Thanks!!

the school replied my husband advising that for babies born in Dec 06, they can only go to the pre-reception class in Aug 09.
i guess it applies to 0701 babies too.

oic, it's the pre-reception class, but not reception class, as i cannot get any information about the pre-reception class from their website. Actually, what's pre-reception class? does it equal to what we have called 'playgroup'? Besides, where is their kinder? jubliee garden? how about the new campus in shek mun?

Pre-reception=playgroup for 2-year-olds, 2-3 days a week, accompanied with an adult at Jubliee Garden. Probably starts at January 2008.
Reception 1=K1, for ages 3, at Jubliee Garden. The new campus is for elementary and secondary school only.

but the school advised us that 0612 babies can only join the pre-reception class at Aug 09 (i.e. 2.5yrs old)

Staff of ICS speak Cantonese, more, they all are very nice ladies and will help you on all matters. They said that up to now, they don't have too much information about Pre-Reception Class, just as presented by bakusensei that the Pre-Reception is designed for 2 years old babies and is tentatively arranged for 2/3 days per week. So that a questionnaire will be forwarded to those parents for their preference.

I have called ICS recently and they said that they are still waiting for the approval from the government in running the playgroup.
It seems to me that the playgroup is not likely to start in Jan. 08.
