我覺得很有趣。家長們不是真的照sample作嘛？試想一想校長收到九百幾封自薦信，其中七百幾封開頭都說＂十分敬佩貴校在教育社會楝樑方面的成就＂或　＂Please excuse me for this unexpected letter expressing the eagerness of mine。。＂校長收你就奇。

Imho, 自薦信真是由心出：why do you like the school? why do you think the school is suitable for your child? why do you think your child will like the school? 如果你想來想去除了＂間學校很有名，讀了出來會出人頭地＂or "呀某某某名人個仔在那裡讀書＂都想不出來。那你要認真想清楚你是否想個仔入這間學校了。這是個人意見，聽不入耳請不要見怪。要怪就怪生果日報report呢的咁既野，本來bk圍內（三百多人？）有個sample可以抄，現在起碼三十萬人有，死未！

I dont think the letter is very good. I wont use it personally.

This letter had been circullated very wide, don't copy it. I think its better to write by the parents.
