Definitely not. My forehead is extraordinary protruded, I don't think I am gifted.

Most of my family members have protruded forehead. Their academic results are excellent indeed.

However, it doesn't mean anything in this complicated society.

Training one's conduct, independence and positive thinking of life is far more important than pursuing high academic results.

Don't be misled by the term of "gifted". Thinking what the most important education is for your kids so as to cope with fast changing society.

My son is only 5. He can do double digit application in his head, without using fingers. His head is as big as mine, and forehead is big and round. I guess it makes sense.

我個仔個頭都係凸,但我就唔覺佢係資優,因為佢就嚟三歲,都唔係好識講野,唔多識表達自己.又被老師投訴唔多專心,不過記性就唔錯,事物可以記得好仔細好耐.點都好啦,我自問都唔係咩聰明人,最重要佢健康同埋唔好學壞.咁就足夠.

Like I said, in research, it doesn't showed any evidence for bigger head, bigger forehand or bigger brain has higher IQ. that's mean if a child has a smaller brain or head, he or she maybe a gifted child.

Can you tell me how old is the child?

I posted couple times in the forum, but seem like no one care about my post. If parents want to check their child's IQ, I recommend after 8 years old. It is more stable and reliable at time. It is something about the brain development issue.

In your situation, it seems the child had WISC test before age of 8 and it is already over half a year. I recommend the parents bring this child to do the test again. You should see a big different for the results.

I read about this as well. Another research on brian discovered Einstein's brain size is a bit bigger than normal size, but the blood vessel distribution and density more complicated than the others.

Some kids have gentic problemsalso have bigger head.

做test時的動機都係一個問題。又遇著一些要計時得分的，部分年紀小的孩子可能會因此減低分數(之前聽資優專家話)，我想尤其是那些神經緊張的孩子，知道你計時(俾佢見到你拿著個計時器)，乜都亂晒龍。

又，8歲左右，小朋友可能在發展上邁向另一個階段，有無發現咁上下年紀時，小朋友突然成熟左好多？可能係咁，所以會較準確瓜？因為不同小孩有不同發展速度、起步，有些是後來居上的，8歲都差唔多發展得七七八八較穩定。
唔知係咪類似咁。

真的很相似.但是我表妹覺得個仔在傳統小學讀了兩年,成績ok但不是最top嗰班,現在她覺得個仔比以前專心度還要差,成績還開始向下.其實不是小朋友不懂,只是他很心急,不看完test paper便做,創意答案又不認同.唉.想轉校他的成績又唔得,因想轉的學校應該要求很高.

我問了表妹,她說當時Dr.無叫佢地待個仔大d再check.

不是沒有看你的post,就是覺得你懂,所以幫表妹問吓.表妹當時只聼人說六歲後做就ok,她便去做,而且是差不多兩年前的事了,真不知原來八歲會準確些.

My head is big too, so is he.
I love thinking too.  Some imposible or logical ideas , creative drawings.
I am good in maths, so is he.
I am good in drawing and designs, so is he.
I love music, so is he.
I love playing, so is he.
I love shopping, so is he.
I love playing computer, so is he.
I love reading newspaper, so is he.
I love to speak foreign language, so is he.
I love to do papers and exams, so is he.
I love to play lego , so is he.
I love Mickey, so is he.
I love racing car, so is he.
Tonight, He told me he want to be a racing car driver.
Ask me where can he learn.
His father love cars & engine so much. He learnt all parts of car and always discuss with me this bus is using recyled gas and start slowly. That bus started faster then recyle bus.  He felt the movement while he is riding on buses.  He reconized which taxi is used disel gas or LPG.  He dont love LPG cars because they go slowly.
He always compare this and that and make a statement of a final report.
He used a cup of water and coverd with towel.  Then turn the cup up side down.  Will water go out?
Result is : no.
Can any tell him Why?
I dont know the answer.

That is not prefect.  We love perfect right.  Dress good. Cook good food, find the best school ....

We must be careful to listen their opions and ideas everyday.  How to solve and lead them to be smart.
