Also, does York have primary section? It stated York English Primary School and Kindergarten on the application form.

York has accepted my son also, i still thinking will giving the $660 fee or not? same of you, have many school still waiting the interview.

It depends on the course type. If that's for the Cambridge/Jet Set test, about $1800 - $2300 for about 10-12 lessons. Sorry that I can't quote the exact price because i forgot how much i paid.

but my impression is that, it's quite expensive (to me) but once you start to apply for the first course, you will continue to finish all other tests offered.

Perhaps other mums whose children are studying in York can also give some opinions?

As far as I could remember, we have paid about $2,300 monthly tution fee last year. But this year, with subsidies of the government we still need to pay $1,300 tution fee. In fact, the school has organised a meeting with parents last year after the government's scheme was announced. I don't want to recall the details but we (I and another parents) were glad that the school finally dropped the proposed plan of "set manual" (3 types of services in accordance with the amount of additional monies paid).

I have a good experience in this school.
My kid said the teachers is nice and I appreciated that the principal is much more emphazie to take public English exam for their students. Beside, they also enrol EPGY exam (maths related public exam) for the students. On my personal opinion, the purpose for those exam is good for the kid to find their dreaming primary school.

如果在家多數只講廣東話，子女又會唔會不適合讀？如果只修讀佢基本的課程，不參加課外湩動／進修，追唔追得上呢？咁如果有參加 YORK 課外活動的家長，通常你地會額外用幾多錢？

我小朋友今年K2,但已經比佢地轉咗2次課程!
有分3種...
1. 非本地課程 $ 33000 11個月學費 (唔可以用學券)
2. 本地課程 $ 24000... 附加英語增潤材料 ( 可以用學券但係你個個月要比多 $ 590 = $6490
3. 本地課程 $ 24000... 中文為主的本地課程可以用學券 (但係無外籍英文老師)
其實收費同你無囉學券一樣!
YORK 課程係好深，中文都好深 (寫蟲、大海、魚呢D已經係上學期功課 ) 但係佢地平分準則唔係睇你小朋友!而係睇你大人會唔會同佢做功課，因為好多時會叫你地做燈籠，閱讀報告，種花，設計比賽!但其實全部都係我地D大人做，不過D分會落係小朋友張成績表!!!
你要知呢間學校好多習費，基本上我個個禮拜都要交錢?我都唔係好明,但我當初入呢間學校只係為咗劍橋英文個個課程先入讀!但個課程只係讀60個鐘全數+ 考試用咗 $ 7320... 所以我只係比個心理準備你地!!!

有好多呀!買學校相,學校碟($100隻係佢地自己燒嘅),假期功課,參加d興趣班唔參加又會無優秀獎!d興趣班係$120到一堂唔包用具,但係要你一早交定2-3個月學費!去學校旅行2大1小$550,我有學卷但我用咗讀一年k1要total比多差唔多30000!30000+10000學卷 = 40000
