95% will proceeds for international primary school. You
may check on the year book for last couple years.

Mine is graduate from Anfield but she is going to join local
primary school because it is what we choose at the
beginning. We prefer English and Chinese are in balance.

Generally, Anfield's students attend two kindergartens will
go for local school becasue their parents think Anfield is
English supplement for local kindergarten.

My girl enjoyed her school life in both schools.

Lemontrees,
Is that your girl study in Anfield from K1 to K3?

How do you arrange her lunch?
Is it tired for her to attend two schools when she is in K1?

Mirrorng,
From the year book, almost all of the children go to KJS, BHS, SJS, RC, CAIS AIS etc.
I find only one of them go to local primary. And it seems quite a lot of them go to KJS.

In addition, as I know, some of them will go to the reception class of their targeted international primary after they complete K1 in Anfield.

I think the number of children who attend two schools (Anfield + Local Kinder) is not many or could say “seldom case”. At least for the coming year (9/2007), those I known will study at Anfield only and plan to go to international primary.

Mirrorng,
From the year boo ...

srs,

I don't see any problem for Anfield's kids to get into
ESF, RC etc. I know at least one K2 kid in Sep 07 attend
two schools, who also attended K1 in the past term.

Lunch is not a problem. My kid can also take a nap in
between, since there is two hours free time.

At the end of K2, the local school class teacher
saw my kid in Anfield uniform on the street. In the
parents' day, the teacher said she was surprised
that my kid was attending two schools becasue
my kid was never fell asleep in the class.

Lemontrees,

Thanks for your sharing.

To be honest, I once plan to let my girl study local +IS in KCS (the local & IS are in the same campus), however, she needs to take a nap for 3hrs. Then I drop this plan, and change to study at Anfield only and teach her Chinese by myself. That is why I asked if your girl started to study 2 schools from K1 (when she is 3-year old).

On the other hand, do you live close to the schools so that your girl could go home for lunch & nap?

In addition, how do you find the difference between student in local kinder and IS kinder? Could you please share your feeling?

sks,

As I know, there will be at least one little girl studying at local school (am) and anfield (pm) from this Sept 07 for K1.
And some parents sign up for the english class in the pm session for the kids in local school.  I'm still struggling since my boy needs plenty time to take nap.

Radiomama,
Oh.. those I know is in am class.
During the playgroup, I know the arrangement for local kinder + Eng activity chest (Anfield) is common.

On the other hand, isn't that your boy will go to study at Victoria? There are one Eng native + Mand native teacher in the class. I think it should be enough.

If you really want to polish his English, I think you only need to join Saturday English activity chest.

Our child is small child, I think it is better for them to take nap.
