我報中大校外課程時, 看到將會開班教爹D媽咪怎樣教BB右腦學習

. 個 course 又會教怎樣將RB用於學reading, 數學和百科. 之後仲有實習和討論.

剛看完Doman的書, 更加想去take呀!!!!!

hehe, 因為我冇睇過書, 所以一定要寫... 10個類別既字應該唔難 (我個bb咁細, 要識既字難極有限), 最多係要界紙同寫

If you want to make the materials by yourself, then is useful, & if your child is infant (i.e. below 1 year old) is much better because the course cover many thing regarding infants especially physical.

I think you are the one PM with me about Learning Eng with Ozmo.

I also study the same course.

I guess "human" may be sth related to human being, such as organs, hands, body etc.

I also studied the Montessori course but not from CU, is the one organised by Infinity Children's World. The Tutor for both courses is the same person.

I found some points Montessori's education is contradicted with Doman. I am quite confused now.

Yeah I am interested the Baby Ozmo, but still thinking how to "explain" to my husband on "buying things again for the baby"! Hope to get back to you later this evening.

I am going to take Montessori course on this coming Sept at CU. I know that some of their points are in contradiction, but hope they can be 取長補短 (that's why I take this class and would like to know more on Doman's method).

Let's share more on both theories!

I still don't quite understand, we need to find 10 words for each category, and the 10 words should include noun, verb and adjective.

So, for example, animals: Tiger, Big, Run, Fish, Swim.. is that right?

i'm not 100% sure,
i think 人類學 is sth. to do with humanity
hence, i've words relating to culture, ethnics.....
and the like

History could be the name of King. Literature could be the name of author. But for their adj or verb still having no idea

I think your example is already included 3 terms already.

I still wondering... what is the meaning for the baby to know the name of the King and author at this moment...?!

My husband laughed at me to put "photosynthesis" as science/plant category....

For literature, is that refer to 李白, Poem,...
For history, is that refer to war...
I don't know as well...

Montessori and Doman are two different teaching theories for early education.

For Montessori, you can click the following link for some details:

In Hong Kong, Montessori education theories was not widely used, and there are less than 10 international accredited Montessori teacher. The tutors from Infinitely Children's world are one of them. They offer Parent course ($980) (8 hours training).

Baby Ozmo -

Hi 3dogs,

I just started to learn the Montessori by reading books, I am not quite sure. Actually most of the "tools/toys" are for larger babies (2.5 yrs+). However, you may apply the concept to the baby even he is just new-born. (please correct me if it is not).

Hi 3dogs,

We can only say Montessori teaching materials are mostly for child at least 2 years old. As in Montessori classroom, they are "free" to choose what to learn. (so at least they can walk around and their eye-hand coordination is developed to a certain level).

But you can still apply Montessori theory to infant toddler, this youtube video may give you some ideas,

If you are interested, you need to learn more about both
teaching methods before you apply.

Just to remind you Doman concept is contradicted with Montessori's one.

We need to bring back the two cards for encyclopedia made last time.

Any if we want to join the exchange for data base, we need to make 50-100 words for each of the category in excel.
