Reasons:
- offer us am class
- close to our house and just above Kowloon MRT, very convinient
- new campus
- not totally new as they have sister shcool at HK island and NT.

We have an interview with principal and teacher and visit the under-constructed campus last week. Both feeling on person and environment are good!

Pincipal have a very clear teaching philosophy which is quite close to us, "Learn from play for a toldder"

Campus is new, bright and colourful. My girl enjoyed playing with teachers and love the school. She even sing during interview.

The above just a personal feeling, i think you better make an appointment with principal and visit the shool.

My girl is only 2 years old, there is 3 more years to go at kindergarden. I will give 1 year to PIPS first and see the school progress. If not satisfied, i can still change!

my bb will attend playgroup at PIPs Kln starting from Sept. I attended the introductory last week and the feeling is good. The school environment is good and it's opened for parents' comment. And the most important thing is, my girl likes the school very much. I will wait and see how's the playgroup as there will be priority at nursery for pg students.

I also let my son to join the playgroup in the coming Sept, I also visited their new school and found the environment is quite good and those teachers and staff are nice. Besides, it is very very near to my house.

hi cherry, look forward to seeing you! as far as i know, they have expanded the pg from 1 class to 2 classes due to good response. i should belong to the 1st batch. How abbout u? To be frank, I am quite worried about the resources if they keep on admitting more students.

Hello there,

I have also enrolled my sons to Nursery p.m. class
I found the campus is very bright and colourful,
the principal is nice, it gave me comfortable feeling so I
choose this one.

I had been to Montessori parent and toddler's
playgroup in Canada, the teachers were nice and patient.
So l learnt the flow of toddler's class.

I hope it will work out the way I want ! I will attend the
orientation night.

Hi 小wahB,

Claire is joinning the International N1 (Sharks class) . The teacher is Miss Joanne and 万老师.

Honestly speaking, i can feel both of them are quite new, especially PTH's teacher so a bit worry. Let's give them some time, hope they can be improve.

But overall, the meeting is quite ok, not messy at all. May be the class is not that big, only 17 students at the class. I can see the other local steam classes have a lot of parents joinning.

Miss Jo very clearly told us what we should do this few days before the school start and the day when we bring claire back to shcool.

Hope everythings can be much more smoth on 3 September.

How is the class today?

Due to my girl was sick, any mother can share?

cheerful-BB, how's your girl now? hope she is ok now. My girl joined the 10:45 pg, and during the class, there is free play time, story time, singing time, snack time, drawing time and outdoor activities. For my class, those babies like walking around to explore and the teacher lets them do so as it's the 1st lesson. So, to me, it is a bit loose during the class. Hope there will be improvement in the next classes. Yet, i am glad that my girl enjoyed the class

but I am worry about the class size as now it's split into
to two time slots. The teachers are barely able to handle
them. I can't imagine when all the children attend the class at the same time how would it be !?

We are also on waiting list to the morning class and I think it will take sometime.  Ms. Mandy is quite okay, so far
so good.  Will see.

Do you know how many kids in Dolphin class?  28????
I think 28 kids in one class is really crowd and I don't think two teachers can be able to handle.  Some of the kids are very very young not even for 2 years old yet.

Yes I am not a working mum. On Thursday we had to
leave the classroom and wait outside, my sons were cried a bit (not so sure) but the class quite down very fast until dismiss! On Friday, my second son could handle it totally only my first son made poo poo, assistant brought him
outside to change diaper and he saw me waiting at the
corridor so he refused to go back in and he went in crying until dismiss!

Tomorrow everyones start on 1:00 pm but we will leave
at 2:00 pm as we are small BB. Big BB leave at 3:00 pm

the class I think by months, for those small BB a group
and Big BB a group. I would say this is better to handle as you know there is really a difference for big and small BB.

My sons are small BB so last week we attended 2:15 -3:00pm. Starting tomorrow there will be one class but
dismiss at different times, we will leave one hour early.

Do you mean the indian teacher that teaches the playgroup? She does have a little bit indian accent. But she is nice and good.

My son is attending the playgroup at 10:45am. Frankly speaking, I was not satisfied with the playgroup during the first 2 days as it wasn't organized enough. And there was too much free play time where teacher's participation was minimal. Free play, outdoor activities, and snack time has accounted almost 2/3 of the lesson. Fortunately, I saw a little improvement today. Hopefully, it will get better.

yes, agreed with Kenzo. I think the class has slightly improved as i have attended three classes with my girl already. I do hope the school can have clearer theme for each session in the class and can reduce the free play time a bit for more group activity. I am with Ms Preeti class, who is an Indian. I think her accent is fine and she is nice and friendly too. But as i overheard that they may have one more pg at the same timeslot and i am quite worried about it....cos for outdoor playtime, we have already got 2 classes in the play area and it'll be crowded for having 3.

hi hoiyauBB, to me, i joined the pg cos i want my girl to have more chances to play and get along with other kids. PIPs can somewhat fulfil my requirements in this sense, though the pg still has room for improvement. But, one thing you gonna asked them is whether there are enough resources in the schools for having one more pgs at the same time.

My girl cried for the last few days. She knew that we tried to leave her alone. Therefore, she stayed next to my maid and didn't let her go. Ms Mandy asked some parents to stay with baby as because they all crying. Don't know when will she enjoy her school life.

My boys started going to school since yesterday and
they are doing quite okay. We stayed in the waiting
room, I saw them walked out of the classroom and form
a line back to the wall to washroom, all the kids are
behaving well, I saw my son was going back and forth and then Ms. Mandy brought him back to the line, quite funny.
Teacher said they will start to teach them focus on story
reading and singing also to train their discipline.

My son also didn't let my maid go. But I think I need to set a cut-off and encourage him to stay in class without maid. May be 1 hour stay with maid, and the 2nd hour stay without maid. Hope it works.

My girl is in starfish class.
Why so many kids cry in PIPS. My girl is still crying if my maid try to leave the classroom and my maid said at least half of the class cry

The reason for crying maybe they are still young and not mature to school yet? My girl got cold last Friday and running nose. I won't let her to school today.
Some of kids even younger than my girl are cool. They won't cry and be good.
Eventhough they are two but the maturity is difference in fact.
How old is your son?

There supposed to be 28 kids in a class. There are 3 teachers at the moment. One speak cantoness, one speak mandarine and one NET.

My girl is attending the Shark Class. Half of the class is still crying too heard from my helper. I think most of them is still very young so is still cyring this week.

My girl is a big baby (born on May), so she only cry on the first 2 days, and now coping ok.

Do you think may be because the shcool and teachers are new so they are not really good in handle the crying babies for this time?

Hope all the babies can cope very soon, because i can see my girl start enjoy the shcool time after she is settle down.

Why so many kids cry in PIPS. My girl is still crying if my maid try to leave the classroom and my maid said at least half of the class cry

Yes, I do think so. The teachers are new and they admitted a lot small babies, so many of them are still crying. You know, crying is infectious, 1 baby cry, the other baby follow him and cry. This is the situation in my class:(

i usually walked along the classrooms during my daughters' pg, as PIPs is also in the nursery list before. Yet, i saw many kids are still crying and seems like the teachers can handle the class with crying and playing kids. They even can't find a tissue for the kids and my mom once gave the teacher one. But it's just my personal impression and i do hope both the pg and the classes can be improved soon!

I am really said that they are admitting one more bb in the class, so in total 19 in a class, and each teacher have to handle 9.5 each.

May i know what is the max student in one international class, i thought is only 18?

1 : 9.5 is really too much for 2 years old class. I heard that other international school like Tutor Times, the ration is only around 1 : 6-8. I suggest you try to talk to the headmastress. In local stream class, there are around 28 kids with 2-3 teachers, but we just need to pay $3xxx
