My British friend (a native English speaker) is teaching Letterland Phonics for 3-6 years old privately at her home in Sheung Shui (near the station).

She has 7 years experience in teaching and is a certified Letterland Phonics practitioner.

She charges HK$200 per hour (group setting). Payment made at the beginning of each month and if you miss one class, you will not be charged.

Date: Saturdays, 11am-12noon for 3-4 years old or 4.30-5.30pm for 5-6 years old (She has a maximum of 4-5 students per group so if you go over this, then a different time date and time will be given).

The first session is on the 11th of August 2007.

She will introduce the children A-Z in a fun way, and teaching them the sounds. After the sounds, they can progress to word building.

My little girl who's 2 years 9 months will join (I'm trying to prepare her for school). She'll be in the 3-4 year old class.

I am posting a message from Ms Sharon and she wants to say thank you to all who have expressed an interest in her playgroup/private teaching.

PS: (This one is from me) I think you'll enjoy her. Apart from being a native english teacher (NET), one of her top qualities is that she is very natural with children (she loves them) and she enjoys teaching them.
