Actually ESF is a pretty good choice for SEN kids, especially if you're lucky enough to get a place in SEN stream. They have a SEN department which provides various kinds of support to students with SEN. My daughter was diagnosed as having ADHD, even though she's in mainstream class, ESF still provide extra support to her such as training programs (during school hours), additional supporting teacher in classroom to make her stay focus on her tasks or to handle her emotional issues, and parent-teacher meeting to set up objective and goals and to explain the progress of students. ESF always emphasizes inclusion that's why generally teachers and staff are nice and friendly and they take care of all children physically and mentally. Class teacher never complains about my daughter so far and they didn't ask for any further assessment nor medical treatment. All these supports are included in normal school fee, I don't have to pay extra. I am very happy with their support so far. But having said that, situations may vary from case to case, and also different campus may have teachers with different experience and quality. My little one is in year 1 now, only few months experience may not represent the overall picture.
