Seems the school doesn't publish the results on website, neither the logos' parents know about the result or nobody wants to share about it???? Really want to know....

2011-2012 畢業生升學概況 (大學課程)

2012-11-27

新高中課程
48% 畢業生升讀大學學士學位課程。
高級程度會考課程
56% 畢業生升讀大學學士學位課程。
上述兩組畢業生有升讀本地大學，如香港大學、香港中文大學及香港科技大學，有升讀海外大學，如多倫多大學、墨爾本大學等。
然而，上述數字並未能反映本校學術表現的整體情況。由於不少本校學生認為海外升學較為合適，他們選擇於不同的學習階段提早往海外升學。這些學生當中，部分最終升讀海外學士學位課程，如美國柏克萊加州大學等。因此，這些升學情況並未能顯示於上述數字內(即48%及56%)。

上述在真道網頁吸出來...唔知道 ok 唔 ok 呢 ???

Thanks for quoting. But comparing it to other DSS schools, this info is far too primitive, parents are unable to judge the real situation. Hope that existing parents could share when they actually know of.

如果學校不單單選成績好的學生入讀，做到有教無類，學生不會因跟不上而退學，這成績還可以。

真道對大多香港家長多看，比較另類，很難和其他DSS比較。
如果家長目標主要是入大學，考慮入讀請三思。

But I can't believe there are parents in HK (more or less middle class who is willing to pay for education) who won't want their children to go to University, at least they would have such wish, of course in the end, if their children really can't make it, then this is another issue.
Would you please help elaborate how 真道比較另類? You mean in terms of discipline, teaching method, core value, subject contents etc.

真道講係學習過程的得著，學的野較廣，而並不只為考試考大學而讀書，教的課程又跟出面進度不同，所以只為入大學而為唯一目標，傳統學校較合適。

The above situation happens in other schools as well. It seems to me that Logo included this remark as the school was not too comfortable with the results, or at least management was not proud of it (personal feeling only).

I am curiously to know if entering into a good university is not the target, what Logo's parents would expect after the students have finished high school.

同意！統計數字沒有太大意義，就算入U率是99%，但自己的孩子是1% or vice versa... 所以我欣賞真道所提倡的「自學、自理、自省」，畢竟讀書的是小朋友個人，作為家長要做到家校合作，互相配合已經非常足夠。

我地都係2013-14準家長，當初對學校亦不太了解，但非常認同學校教學理念，師資優良，學校硬件亦能配合發展，再參與觀課後，更加認為自己選擇正確。11-12年之後的DSE... 存在與否都未知！

I would discuss how to set priority with my kid. Learning to set priority and manage one's time are essential for her study and work in the future.

"「自學、自理、自省」"

I believe most schools also nurture these values. I do not see why nurturing these values and targeting to enter a good university cannot be done at the same time. Logo adopts IB as well, right? IB learner profile includes these values, and is also good programme for universities.

作為家長，當然期望孩子最終可入讀好的大學，但不願到一所只重成綪，成績不達標便勸退的學校。況且結果如何，個人覺得學生本身因素關鍵更大。我是這樣想的：1)
學習能力高+學習態度好的孩子à只要到校風好的學校便可2)
學習能力高但學習態度不好的孩子à要到一所包容的學校，接納他們並給時間他們改變。3)
學習能力不高但學習態度好的孩子à也要到一所包容的學校，接納他們並給時間他們進步。4)
兩樣都不好的孩子à也要到校風好的學校，書讀得不好也希望人做得好。
