實在不熟IB，有點擔心，請幫忙，**sorry，太多問題..." 先謝謝大家

1.聽說如要在 IB 取高分，當中有部分分數是 internal assessment ，所以跟学校老師关系要好，取高分機會高些，真的嗎？
2.這些所謂" internal assessment"，是individual work ，還是 group project？

3.如選科：
English A
Chinese B high
HL maths
HL Chemistry
SL physics
HL Econ

以上全部都有所謂" internal assessment"？
這樣選擇，(可能將來讀 business, econ, 精算, computer 之類科目), 有何意見？

4. 42+3 分
此"3分"只是知道要去做 charity 工作，但聽講要寫論文，請問這個論文要寫D乜？是否要寫由charity 工作之後得到之心得？

5. 另外見到一些所謂" theory of knowledge "，是否跟此"3分"有關？是什麼東東？

Internal assessment係individual work而且關係好，你又比心機既話，老師一定會比較鍾意啦，多啲機會比comment你，攞到高分機會都大啲

每一科都有ia，只不過format唔同，但econ有三份ia要做

3分係唔計CAS (creativity, action, and service)，個三分係計extended essay同tok. Extended essay係學術性既論文，你要揀一個subject to focus on，英文要寫maxi 4000 words，中文maxi 3500 words

Theory of knowledge is like teaching you the different ways to obtain information and how you justify th validity of knowledge.
Eg.the way to obtain knowledge from science=conducting experiment.
And you would need to complete a presentation and an essay in order to complete tok.

補充多一點IA是有lBO 跨學校的modulation.

特別新學校，通常老師傾向手鬆，所以要監察，lBO會評估某校老師在某科某份 IA手鬆，會整體調整分數。當然老師手緊，亦會被lBO調高分數。

我又補充下, CAS不是單單指做義工, 它有三部分: creativity, action and service. 学生要三樣都有,CAS 唔計分, 但做不到要求是取不到DP diploma.

為甚麼？其實我對ib 認識不深，以我朋友的女兒為例，學校set 了一些compulsory subjects，mainly science subjects, 然後elective 可能是一些文科subjects. 我很奇怪這樣安排是否意味在該校選讀ib 就差不多等於讀理科？如果該學生將來入u 想講的學系與chem 無關，chem 讀SL 是否應該無所謂？

沒有IGCSE.可能是我理解錯，只知她中、英、數要考。然後choose between physic and biology, choose between history and psychology.....At last, her daughter chose physic and psychology and also chemistry. Chemistry 就不知是必修或選修。我只是覺得ib 沒理由只傾向理科，可能是學校的取向。

阿仔學校 Pre- lB那年，中英數之外，文科 Econ 必選，再從歷史，地理，心理學選多一科，理科是化學必選，然後在生物，物理，再選多科，到 lBDP 再決定二文一理，抑或二理一文，不會全理科！
最初我懷疑是因為考 lGCSE，搏攞A*而已，選多些理科！

Looks like they do not offer any Group 6 subjects at all? Group 6 are music, drama, visual arts, etc.Instead of doing one Group 6, students are asked to do Chemistry as a compulsory?

一般全部学生都考IB學校都是由学生按大學想修科目和学生能力選DP subject, 我估dailam所講的学校分DSE和 IB兩條隊, IB選科時設定必修科間接選学生
