I think you should mean "pre-medicine" of Stanford instead of "medicine". Save for less than 10 Us in the USA (as far as I know) which offer a BA or BSc + MD course (lasts for 7 to 8 years), the medical school would admit students to study medicine after they obtain a first degree.

People hold a first degree and then enroll for premed if they are interested in medicine.USA medical schools do not recruit international students. Medical students in USA usually apply for a loan and so financial hurdleshould not be an issue for capable students. Also studying premed does not guarantee a place in medical school.

sorry,懒得去查, 借問一聲其實CKY, 真道和SPCC係考IB既Eng A or Eng B？ 只睇45分,又睇唔睇到考生係考A or B？

The score does not reflect choice of language.  One language A is minimum.  Two language A will get you a bilingual diploma but this is not the only way.

Thanks for the info. 我呢個同學入CU medi 之後有段時間有輕微抑鬱症，醫咗一排好返，亦好彩喺香港有屋企人陪伴。由於成績非常好，幾個專科都比好好offer佢，結局佢選擇一科比較輕鬆但並非可以揾大錢嘅專科。喺公立醫院又幾年後，佢去咗美國，學習一d新技術，邊學邊做，2年後返黎，現在真正可以造福人群，一來喺CU 做asst prof,教更多人新技術，另一方面有為市民服務。

咁既係eg SPCC全校係考Eng A or B, 抑或個别學生自己揀？ 負責收生既人又知唔知申請既人係考A or B？

I don't know the details at those schools so can't comment.  Out of those 3, doubt much students taking Eng B other than at Logos.

係囉,就係好多人都冇提這點,只係講個score, 我覺得去英國讀書這點都幾crucial！我懷疑SPCC都未必係考A卷,有冇人知？

i will be very surprised if most CKY and SPCC students do Eng B. Not sure if the boy with 45 points did English B or not.

中文已經揀A，英文揀B也是平常不過，當然中英選A卷是更好了。

其實大部份滿狀元的HL是數理科，夠穩陣嘛，唔通又話人佢地英文麻麻地，好驚訝咁！

你這個問題分兩個層面去睇：
1. 純睇學校公佈分數- 45分 是睇唔到考Eng A or Eng B， Chi A or Chi B，Maths Studies .....etc。


2. 大學由 IBO 提供的學生成績有清楚列名，科目，課程及程度 (Subject, syllabus, level) eg English A, Lang & Lit and HL。學生及家長自然知道。


學校自然以最有利的方法表達，又不是全錯的。


CKY, SPCC 是全English A (香港好似無學校不以English A 為主流)，LA 是全English B，LA 頭幾屆是無開 English A，只可以選 English B 。2013 才開始有English A 作選擇，聽 LA 家長說最後都無人選 English A。

好似係真道如讀Eng B 會選HL，如選Eng A 就只有SL，所以要另外一科讀HL。讀Eng B 一般都要考其他英語水平試， Eng A 就不用再考

外國好多比較好的大學，都唔會收 ib english b 學生。要留意，外國大學好睇學生背景，你生於大陸，考高考，英文麻麻，佢地可以接受，你只要有 ielts sat 就得，甚至 dse 英文只係和 ib english b 差唔多水平，佢地都會接受。但香港生選 english b ，就會打折，因為香港大部份 ib 學生，都係 english a ，佢地大把人㨂。
