Book depository is now offering a 10% discount. I want to buy some books written by different authors (preferrably from UK) for my kid. Can anyone recommend books with similar level as "How to train your dragon"? Thanks a lot.

my wish list has - Not for Parent - New York (Lonely Planet), Rome, Paris
Enid Blyton - wishing chair

She's now reading Magic school bus (Chapter book), Series 3 of Usborne - illustrated storeis by William Shakespeare and illustrate stories from Dickens.
Of course Germino Stilton, illustrated classic for boys and girls.

我今日係圖書館借左Magic tree house book 1,呀女好鍾意睇，程度都適合。
大家覺得此系列值得買還是到圖書館借比較好？

Thank you! 0甘我唔買了，就去圖書館借算了。
近來呀女睇書量大增，我見ORT都滿足唔到佢，今日就試下借magic tree house la, 估唔到佢好鍾意。
我都好開心，終於邁向系列Chapter book了，以後借書多一本揀。

原來有套裝.thank you!!! 不過佢剛睇左第一本咋, 等我去圖書館再借第二本, 睇下佢之後係唔係都0甘鍾意先考慮買.
我女4.5歲.你仔仔都係學小提琴? 我女都學緊呀.

Some chidren just like a few books from this series, like my son. So it will be a waste if you got her the whole set.
I just ordered all 4 books written by David Walliams - The boy in the dress, Mr. Stink, Billionaire boy and Gangsta Granny.

都是的, 有可能只喜歡其中幾本, 反正圖書館有, 等佢借完睇完再決定買唔買都唔遲.

尋日見我女睇緊書, 走埋去問下佢好唔好睇, 佢原來剛睇到緊張情節, 同我講: "媽咪,我好驚呀, 有怪物捉佢地呀", 之後見happy ending 佢就笑晒.

請問有無d類似Magic tree house 有一大系列, 差不多又或淺一點程度的chapter book, 或者女孩一點的?煩請推介一下

For girls, Jacqueline Wilson's books are very good. She wrote many books but two of them (forgot the name) are for beginner, check her website.

For boys, younger ones like Mighty Robot, Captain Underpants, Franny Mad Scientist, Horrid Henry (they have some early readers), Geronimo, Andrew Lost.
