any comment for KBCK, any existing parents??

我的三個小朋友都讀過,兩個已畢業,最小的正唸K2．非常喜歡此校，原因如下：
１．不市儈，學費＄２２００，多年來只加過一百元，此外別無其他雜費，連第一個書包都免費，再買才要付款．聖誕音樂會的dvd & photo都不另收費．但美工材料並不慳皮，非常精美，做完帶回家的art & craft 簡直愛不釋手
２．老師有愛心，因教會背景，由校工到校長都十分愛護小朋友
３．國際學校教學方式，learn through play,有show and tell,每周借英文書連錄音帶回家看及聽

當然有一些其他家長或覺不完美的地方，以往也曾有家長提及，包括：
１．地方小，當然沒有電腦室，自然角，連廁所也小，男女共用，更沒有運動場，每周要借用附近的籃球場，或在地庫上體育課２．人手編制少，每班有一名class teacher 及一名assistant ,但校工不多，老師除了教學，還要兼做一些清潔工作，有時難免未能兼顧所有學生
３．絕對沒有功課（孩子開心），更不會默書串字，紀律也相對傳統本地幼稚園寬鬆，未上課前有半小時可以自由任玩玩具，玩水玩沙都可以，連走廊地上都可以玩，當然之後會收拾好，但有家長初見此滿課室滿走廊玩具的情況，嚇了一跳．

I know a few kids used to study there and they loved going school very much.  The parents' comments were always good about the school.  However, what is your target primary school? if you are Cat.2 and your target is ESF Primary? then I will recommend you think again.

So did your kids attend another local KG for K3 ? As far as I know KBCK only have K1 & K2. Can they catch up with the Chinese language at sch now ?

actually we got the interview chance from KBCK and ESF, but we live in Kln side, so KBCK will be more better...

My son is also studying in KBCK.  I agree that KBCK is a good school as mentioned by the parent in the previous post above.
For applying ESF school, KBCK students will be preferred since ESF considers it as a "real" english school and will have ESF teacher going there to "pre-interview" for those students who have applied ESF schools.
However, I agree that Cat 2 student may have a lower chance to get into ESF school.  Luckily, my elder son, who is also a graduate from KBCK, is now studying in one of the ESF school.

我們從來沒有申請ESF,要應付三個人的學費,老實說沒有能力讀國際學校,所以我特別感謝KBCK以低廉的學費,讓我們可接受全英語的教學.

ic ic , but any KG will accept students at K3 ? Or your kids studied 2 KG at K2 ?
