我個仔有部份自閉症特徵,我應該點做?請指教!

請問:
我個仔而家歲半,有部份先閉症特徵,但又唔全中,在母嬰健康院見過醫生啦,佢話半年後再評估,但我驚到時會更嚴重,(我都想早d知道點幫個仔),請問大家可否俾d意見我?

It is no uncommon to see autistic like features in very young child and that's a proper diagnosis cannot be made until s/he is older.

Dear mungmung,
An experienced child psychiatrist (he is now on sick leave; maybe some of you here know him) of Yaumatei Children Psychiatric Clinic mentioned that marginal cases can be diagnosed until 7 years old, some even at 12.  It is too early to conclude infants as autistic.  

Don't worry too much.  Just train his weak areas, e.g. speech, social skill, attention, discipline,....

我個仔除左我同爸爸之外,其他人都唔睬,有小朋友想同佢玩or走近,佢就會避開,如果係大人想同佢玩,佢就閃避,請問我可以點做?

佢對事物十分堅持時,我可以點幫佢轉移呢?

歲半可唔可以做評估?

請指教!!!

IMHO whether or not your child is/is not autistic is not important at this stage. It might be worthwhile to spend your time and energy ( and money) to locate a properly run playgroup/social skill group so that your child will learn how to interact with others.

You can join Heep Hong Society as ordinary members, and join their activity. Most of the children there have special needs. They have playgroup in their Shek Kip Mei Centre for very young children.

I think it's their Parent Resource Centre (PRC: 家長資源中心) that organizes these groups, if there's any. It's in fact self-support group by parents and I used help them when I was there, more than 12 years ago though. HH have more than one PRC and there's at least another one in Tai Po. Check their website for info and call the relevant PRC.

after you join the membership of Heep Hong, you will receive their activities schedule periodically (usually every quarter). Then choose the activities that fit your child and enrol.  Most activities will be held in weekdays.  So if your child can be available in weekdays, you will get better chance to join the activities.

You can join 明愛家長資源中心 as well.  They have most enthusiastic social workers to help you.  I personally feel that 明愛 social workers have more loving care than those of Heep Hong, may be because of their religious background.

To join their playgroup, you can just become their member first.

我建議你比小朋友2歲入讀全日制幼兒園，看看他的情況再作決定。

我想你可以等一等,到孩子兩歲時再見醫生,睇吓到時情況有無改善再作決定.因為我個仔又係除咗我就唔肯俾其他人抱,又唔睬人唔望人,其他小朋友一齊玩佢就自己一個走來走去,又唔肯講嘢,佢兩歲時去健康院d姑娘都無話佢有問題.後來到佢兩歲四個月左右我同佢去睇一個耳鼻喉兼兒科醫生,因為阿仔好多時唔舒服都係睇佢,同醫生傾開阿仔唔肯講嘢o既問題,佢就話阿仔係有自閉傾向,於是我叫佢寫醫生紙俾我,轉介去兒童體能智能評估中心做評估,依家已經等緊做training啦!

所以如果你個小朋友在兩歲時健康院唔轉介,你又覺得好擔心時,不妨到時搵個相熟的醫生寫醫生紙轉介你去評估中心啦!

另外,你幫小朋友報全日制的幼兒園都是一個很好的做法,因為我阿仔依家都未排到任何訓練,但他返了幼兒園後對其他人的反應都好了很多,而且開始識得跟吓指示做(當然要佢高興時啦!    ).

我知道有間ART CENTRE 有一些特殊的小組活動給有需要的小朋友.例如敲擊樂.小劇場等等.導師也曾在協康的一些中心教過小朋友音樂的。
