Would like to ask any school bus for this school?  

We live in Tuen Mun near Gold Coast.   
Seems public transportation to there is quite complicate:

home >> Tsuen Wan MTR >> Lok Fuk or Choi Hung >> minibus or bus to the school?

As far as I know, no school bus for students living in Kln & NT.

You can take 52x from Tuen Mun to Mei Foo(around 35mins) and then take 42 to Shun Lee(35mins).

Thank you for both your advise about the transportation.      we will apply this school....   I heard real good comments,  and seems this school also accepts a lot of our current primary school too...

May I ask anyone has experience about their interview?

CCS.   do u also hv kids studing in UCCKE now?

Yes, my son's studying in UCCKE S.2, he's previous a CCS student.

Yes, so far so good.
My son went back to CCS last term to talk in the S.1 students sharing.  You know, there were more than 10 UCCKE's students went back to CCS that day.  They lined up in the stage and all of them presented very well.  I think this year Principal Mok will hold this kind of sharing for P.6 students & parents too.  It will be a busy time for all the P.6 parents, teachers & Principal.  Hope your girl/boy? can get into a good school.

oh,  i didn't know about the last sharing.   yes,  teacher said there s/b old boys' sharing section coming up.   CCS real does a lot for the students.   

i heard there are 20+ CCS' students get in UCCKE.   and there are more outside students apply this school too.   competition getting tough!

As I know, the school will interview all applicants.  No writing test.
Please ask if any UCCKE's parents can give more information to you(cos we didn't apply at the first time)

For past few years, they accepted band 1 and few band 2 students.  The main requirement is good conduct.  Not sure the banding for the coming year as the school may set higher requirement for new S.1 students now.

The new S.1 interviews will be held on Dec 13, 08 and Feb 7, 09.  For more details, please contact the school directly.

UCCKE considers students on an overall basis.  But due to tougher competition these 2-3 years, they will use results as a general guideline.  

However, if you can show your sincerity and eagerness to study in UCCKE by talking to the principal (Dr To), he will seriously consider each individual application even if the results are not the best.

Do come for the Open Day and see for yourself if the school is suitable for your child (think in Jan 2009).  And take the opportunity to talk to the teachers or even Dr To (who is always going round the campus).
