To all dearest Parents,

Do anyone knows when is the right time to apply for ESF (Y1) and RC (Y1) as my daughter is now 3.5 years old and would love to know when it should start to send them application for Y1.

Your advice would be highly appreciated.

The best is look at their websites to make sure you get the right information. Am I right to say that you daughter was born in 2004? According to ESF central application, you can submit the application from 1-24/9, 2008. As for RC, I think the application time is more or less the same, but I am not sure so dont quote me on this. I think RC is more flexible on the dates of application, please do check out. Good luck.

My son was borned in 2005 (end Oct)....To ensure he is ready for school, I'm going to postpone his study 1 year (be a 大仔 then). Does anyone know is it too late for my son to apply for ESF or RC Year 1 in 2010???

My son was born begining of December 2000. According to the year he was born he should be in year 4.

When we applied to RC we told them specifically that we wanted him to start in year 3. So instead of being the youngest in his class he is now the oldest.

Althought this would be on a case by case basis and also our son is currently in year 2 in UK and we did not want him to miss a year in school. Only downside for me is I will have to payu an extra year school fee for him.
