我 16/11 收到 email, 我估佢係有個 list 咁去邀請家長 interview, 如有家長放棄就再叫下一位。純粹估下，因我見有家長in 完即日收到 email. 你試下天朝打去， goodluck!!

Sorry, just got the messages. It was a panel discussion last year for me. Both parents went in together, along with other "candidates' parents" . Then we had to go around the circle to answer the questions. Everyone spoke English back then, but I think if u speak canto/mandarin is fine too. I guess I'm too late to answer your questions as some of u went for the interview already. Anyway, good luck to all of u.

我小朋友依家讀緊維記, 確實係一間唔錯嘅學校,資源豐富，環境清潔,成日有好多seminar 比家長參加,同weekend常撹好多活動,但老實說K1位只得好少,因入到去讀PN除龍校外好少會走,我上年11月龍B，in K1就算playgroup 學生都唔收,最後都要PN 先收,不過我留意到維記確實比較鍾意收活潑的嘅小朋友, 注重要同佢地理念一致嘅家長, 真心想讀佢學校並唔係當水泡，所以偏向收自己playgroup 嘅學生, 因之後上堂模式會相約,亳無而問CWB , 海怡同海峯園啲家長係比較多專業人士家長

Yes, mine was a small dec baby, and they asked me why I wanted to put her in k1 instead of pn? They also asked me what language we speak at home as I applied bilingual section.

At the end, my baby got on the k1 waiting list only. There was a letter sent to me after awhile asking me if I wanna switch to apply for pn. That letter sounds a bit promising so I gave it a try and got in as pn. So I guess taking small b to K1 is a slim chance. But this is only based on my experience in Cwb campus and dragon year. But if some small b are really smart there may be exceptions as always.

One more point, I have no regret to put my girl in pn now as she is really happy at school. I mean she still have lots of challenging time coming ahead in her life. Its very good to see her enjoying school every moment. Plus, she is a big b in class now so she acts like a big sister and this builds up her confidence. I also love the school as every teacher, helper and staffs are so caring. I'm surprised they can remember all the children's names and how they do at school. Agree they have lots of activities and some people will call this "commercial". But to me, I think this is a persona decision to join those events or not and you won't get penalised for not joining. But at least the school organise that many of activities to give parents an option to join. Some schools may not have this option. But so far I think the school is kinda relax on academic, so that may not fit some people's preferences.

其實維記偏向收大B, 我小朋友嗰班PN，最細都只係6－7月,坦白講好少收細B，有啲分校只是收到8月尾, 如12月細B跟9月超大B確實差太遠，分別是1年3個月,機會非常渺茫
再者開左學我路過K1班, 我覺得自己的決擇係正確, 因K1小朋友真係已可以講全句句子, mature 好多, 而家我小朋友係學校好有自信心,同學間能力相約，樣樣task都做到, 其實大小B唔係聰明與否，而係能力與否，維記點解考直資比較成功, 這亦是其中一個因素

維記k1收好多細b的，一班k1可以有超過一半是8-11月的，是今年k1。維記會因應小朋友的能力去教，不用怕細b就比下去，而且兩文三語的語境很好，老師好caring

你係咪直接入K1？如果PN上嘅係唔會收表嫁喎，網站寫明！其實學校都咁坦白問你考唔考慮做超大B，我會覺得若你好有心想讀，呢個策略會更有勝算，已經入到2nd in 已好難得, 比小朋友玩多年都唔係唔好事

Fyi, 上年囡囡 (dec 2012) second interview k1 後收到嘅 email, 話囡囡年齡尚小，故建議可再申請報讀2015-2016年度的小組班 (PN).

Victoria K1 takes many small bb, including mine. My daughter is born in November and there are even kids born in December in her class. They look at their abilities more so than their age.

Hello 貴媽媽, I'm in the same situation now and just got call from Victoria to invite my bb to go interview pn instead of k1. Do u think the chance will be better for pn? And also, I'm actually a bit struggle to let my son delay one year, because he's is physically very tall and big ( he's taller than some 3 years old). I don't want him to feel he's very stood out in the class. Thanks for ur comments in advance!
