我個仔07-12出世, 準時9月1曰就寄K1‧申請表去九龍塘 '+南', 啱啱收到佢哋回覆話太多人申請, in都無得in

唔好唔開心啦, 九龍塘 "迦南" 本身有n班,
所以對外k1學位唔多.

如果唔介意,九龍城 "迦南" 都唔錯ga,
只係環境就差小小.又或者試下民生,創價,靈糧堂等,
其實都有好多選擇.唔好咁快灰心.

蘇浙 also doesn't accept small boy, and so are many other famous kindergartens. it's so unfair for the babies born in late months, they have so much less opportunities than 'big boy'. I really hate that so many schools view small boys as 'second class' people.

但蘇浙去年都有收細仔喎. 今年又唔收呀?

Yes ar, my son was born in Oct 2008 and my application has already been rejected by 蘇浙. Victoria (Belcher's) also told me that even if they interview my son, he can only be on the waiting list at best. I am pretty frustrated too.

算啦咁多位媽咪，我舊年都有呢種都唔公平既感覺。
我仔仔都係07年11月出世，莫講話九龍塘0個d幼稚園眼尾都唔望下d細仔，連我住宅區d學卷幼稚園舊年都唔收佢讀pn啊，講到明得waiting list咋。所以我等左一年，今年再幫我個仔仔報出年既pn，做大仔﹗

見到有媽咪話"而家好多學校都唔會收大一年的大仔的，如10月出世又讀多一年幼稚園的就係大一年，而不係大仔了。

大仔係同年不過係年頭同年尾的分別，則係2008年1月18日出世為大仔，而2008年10月18日出世為細仔。

如果你係讀津貼學校係 ok ，有d 私立學係鐘意收大仔大女如培正和聖方濟各，不過 DGS 和好多私校都唔收大一年的。津校協恩都係收同年的1月1到12月31日出世。"

而家d私校小學係未咁架? 即係細仔想就大都唔得. 仲想下年年頭試下懷孕, 即係10月後出世. 生仔已經難, 仲要限定月份

我見spk今年收既(按bk post)都係06大仔, 05細仔只係放入waiting. 所以報幼稚園時最好了解該校取向, 如果佢肯講既話.

吓!咁咪大又唔得,細又唔收....冇事嗎?我唸呀女作為細女(11月)有個N1學位真係好好彩.......去年報名都知細b機會細,好多時都同大b interview 分開and waiting;仲以為因為遲入學(足兩歲),所以要等...唔知考K1都係咁,真係煩......

要入就要一早入他們的playgroup.

咁又係喎!
我知去年迦南playgroup同學仔,
報讀今年k1,好似都係收得幾個咋喎!
好多都唔收.所以入讀佢地playgroup,
都未必一定可以收返k1 ga.
除非真係特別"醒", d導師肯推薦.....咁可能機會大d.

Totally agree!

The 'small boys' are younger doesn't mean they are dumb.  Those schools that reject applications lost students with high potential.  I hate that attitude.

Parents,

Please don't be discouraged.  There are schools that take 'small sons'.  Although they may not be so famous but the younger babies may need a less stressed environment to smooth into school life.  Try some less competitive schools.

My little boy is born on end of October 07.

We went to 4 interviews so far, and he got accepted by 3.

1) Creative kindergarten at Kowloon Tong
2) Creative primary school's kindergarten at kowloon tong
3) York kindergarten at kowloon tong

Add oil la.. small bbs!!

乜蘇浙又係咁咩？! 細b真係無著數!
我大女係細b，佢上年做細in 聖心k1，唔得，咁打算今年再見啦，點知今年佢地又係寫明k1收2007年度小朋友，我咪打去問，點知個staff話，你都可照apply，不過如你小朋友表現同2007年出世個d差唔多的話，會收2007年個d先囉!
我即刻無野講啦 ~ 06年細b，同07年1/2月大b，程度會爭得幾遠呀？!

而呀仔又係，早左出細(原本1月中)，做左12月，仲要超細b添，蘇浙又係唔受張form! 不過，我都好彩，阿仔都有間收左，叫做有書讀，下年先再煩過。

佢地兩個搞到我頭都痕埋!

今年真係好多人報n1,通常10個選一個,做細仔好多指示都未識回應,interview一定唔會特別好,一比下去,只有收reject letter,好彩之前有報救世軍,唔洗in直入!

但我在升k1時又面對相同問題. 我知think由n班升k班係要再in, 而且有優先權, 但係, 我問左學校多次, 都係話返左學先, 明年先in, 但我見到think k1已收左唔少人, 讀緊n班個D都in左, 咁我未開學的細仔都唔知點算.

而且其他學校在10-12月收生, 萬一佢明年臨時唔收我仔仔, 我就會很狼狽, 所以我唔等think啦, 已報左幾間k1, 有兩間收左, 一間waiting, 所以, 好大機會讀完n班就算.

Same same ar. for my daughter, she born on 10/04, small girl, only accept by private kg. while my son born on 12/07 (super small) only on waiting list for 有學券既kg. so i need to put him for private kg again, so poor~~~

Yes, small boy is very unfavour in the KG application. My son was born in 1107. He is smart and very in lingustic development already but still under development in discipline. He went to interview to two KGs in KLT Tong near in November 2009 and was rejected. After review of the performance, I would have to admit that big boys are definitely getting advantage. Kids get a lot of development in a month time which has also been found in my small boy. We will be back in the coming year again.

Mine is 0712 b. We applied 4 KG for K1- 3 accepted and 1 waiting list.
