anyone have any comments in these school? Which is better? My daughter will go to year 1 the coming year ! Many thx!

Depends on where you live. It's under catchment. BHS is a much smaller campus with less classes and SJS has a larger campus with more classes.

Academically all ESF primary are about the same. So I would choose somewhere closer to home.

I think the host can provide either address and can apply for either one.

我就覚得吾係辺間学校BETTER、応該係小朋友去哪里他才能FLOURISH.　小朋友是細B　OR　大B？　一般而言、大B成熟、去大小校都OK。　　但係細B,就可能需要老師OR　EA　多点照顧。　可能細校適合D.
Having said that, 我個女係細B,但係SJS都OK,学校有SUPPORT　GROUP、上SUPPORT　GROUP上左４年。　到Y５開始都可以完全追上。　但有D細B,又完全無問題。

我想請問support group是否由學校直接安排？如果學校認為小朋友有需要參加，會通知家長知曉嗎？因我女兒即將升到sjs Y2，不太了解學校有此安排。多謝！

island school, west island ,south island , kgv, shatin college

year 10,11 igcse 成績最強是shatin college

如果sjs 到shatin college,上學也會講英文

回家則看情況，身邊的例子，是回家與父母激動就會講英文
父母在家講中文，　但與父母爭論就會講英文，　因為英文是母語

有sjs 兄弟姐妹多則英文溝通

beacon hill 你最後派到那間英基中間存變數

上邊間中學和居住地址有關。但你講的啱，小朋友真係慣咗在家講英文，無論激動與否，無論父母是否講返中文

不一定跟地址派的
esf year 7 競爭激烈

可以無位.kgv 就是例子
可以旺角伸請去港島區三間中學也可以

是学校安排的、有需要会事前通知家長、不用WORRY.　如果VERONGIQUE没有通知、即没有此需要。　也和小朋友的母語是否是英文没関係的。　我自己個女就因為未読過書、所以是適応問題。

Mighty, 請問是主要學術上支援嗎？是怎樣的額外支援？我囝囝是亞氏保加(即自閉譜系，但智力正常或資優)，但於社交、情緒及溝通則要多點support

如学生需要ＳＰＥＣＩＡＬ　ＮＥＥＤＳ、我就不了解了。　我以前的状況是学習上（我想強調是学習上、不是学術上）的ＳＵＰＰＯＲＴ．　学生会被要請到特別班（一個星期２－３次）、幾個同様状況的学生一斉上、老師不是恒常老師。　会事前通知家長、家長也出出席一次面談、了解為何有特別安排。

If the case is serious (special needs), parents might need to pay money to get your own "assistance" to take care of the child. This is a common practice with serious special needs children. Most special needs children actually will not get much more special help other than the remedial support Mighty mentioned.
