本身排緊South Island waiting list， ESF問我考吾考慮Island School , 本身對2年後搬大圍沒什麼意見（反正有shuttle bus 大概只多花30分鐘單程），請問各位家長有什麼意見？

隔天打電話去south island 追問最新情況，ESF的回复，拖得就拖吧。

ESF向來在各方細節安排上，做得唔錯，大圍的校舍應該也不賴。

真正要擔心是，凡是緊張孩子的父母，必然有幾手準備，成績好，又關注多的家庭，未必會跟大隊去大圍。Island 在同學和家庭間的良好互動上，有機會打折扣。

聽聞 Island School 因為搬遷, 學生和老師的流動性頗大, 如能等得到, 我投 SIS 一票. 而且Island School 可能要在暫用校舍分兩個 campus, 我覺得不太好. 很多將會上 Island School 的 esf 小學生正另謀出路, 因不少都是住附近, 誰想去大圍返學呢?

本身在灣仔區傳統男校讀緊小五，好想好想中學轉IS。同admission傾過，在
South Island waiting list 排7/8名內。但admission話正選都有double digit 嘅人等緊，所以機會不太樂觀。

我都明白有變數，但暫時只有呢個offer, 又吾俾拖太耐，點好？

其實對Island School本身（除左要搬校舍外），各位覺得怎樣呢?

oooray, 完全同意，亦因為呢個原因，就算個仔成績應該可以原校升中，我都吾等小六畢業就轉。

「袋住先」會不會有誤導？入左 island school 不能轉去另一間ESF吧？！

Island School 話要commit讀完year 8 至可以transfer到其他ESF

如搬屋有轉校需要係可以申請，聽聞internal transfer priority最高，但settle down后大部份人都未必咁做。除非有必走的原因。

sorry 是我解釋得不清楚。正選的意思是學校已取錄的。副選便是waiting list 的小朋友了。

我想請教一下，為什麼其他國際學校對Island School 的印象和評語那麼負面呢？

今天去了Island School school tour, 除了校舍有點兒舊之外，其實整體印象真的不俗, 學生也是頗平實認真的。

其實island school 冇問題，2013考試成績好，只是要去沙田太遠，住九龍就ok

不要抱太大希望可以轉。eg KGV 只接受學期初𨍭，中間不可以。既係一定要等一年

Not for ESF. Only around a year ahead.

I applied in Sept 2014 (for year 7, the deadline for online application was end of Sept 2014).

Congratulations! My gal is with Island since the beginning of this school year. She enjoys the school much. All the teachers she came across with are kind and with hearts in teaching.

Yes, my son is in P. 5 now (in a traditional boy's school in Wanchai) and will be going to Island School for year 7 the coming Aug.
